The Beginning and Now: Your gaming history

Hmmm... the first game that I can remember playing... was either Donkey Kong Country or Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. I remember playing both of those, when I was a toddler and/or little kid, but I don't remember which one was first. I think it might have been A Link to the Past. As for what I'm playing now, mostly Pokemon rom hacks. My favorite game is probably Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, for the SNES. I really liked Tomba! 2 for the PSX, as well.

First game I played was Tetris, followed shortly afterwards by Pokemon Red.

While not amongst the first games I played, the game Gothic got me into computer games.

Currently I play Risen3, Fire Emblem, LoL(when my internet allows it.) and every once in a while games made with the RPGmaker

Hmm, my first video game was probably the original Legend of Zelda or Super Mario Bros on the NES. After that, I moved onto Pokemon on the Gameboy and many, many N64 games.

Nowadays I play mostly Grand Strategies and RPGs, with a dash of adventure and simulators. I'm at 421 hours on Crusader Kings II, and probably over 2000 hours between TES Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim.

First game was either Wheel of Fortune or Battleship: Surface Thunder. Moved on to playing organised ArmA III on the reg.

I got an SNES when those were a thing.

Now I mostly play Flappy Bird.

I don't really think a huge amount of Video Games as an art form. Might grab some turn based DnD stuff at some point?

I remember playing a game called Goonies on an Msx computer. Then I played a racing game of sorts on a 286 of an uncle, pokemon on my 586. Then I had a SNES: Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country and Super Metroid...

Nowadays, I play Tera on weekends I can, or DoA5LR, when I'm not watching anime, or organizing my data. Most of my free time is spent writing though.

Let's see first game I can briefly remember playing is a Sonic game on the SEGA Gamegear. Ahh, the early 90's where game time was measured in AA battery lifespan. Aside from that there was also, I think the first DOOM back on Windows 95. And then a bunch of N64 and Gameboy games.

Nowadays most of my time is spent in either DOTA 2, Kantai Collection and whatever recent AAA title is released which this month seems to be MGSV.

My first game was either Age of Empires II, on a twenty five minute timer so my siblings could get their turn.

Now, X-Com, Long Live the Queen, and yes, Age of Empires II.

Tetris, followed by this NES circus game.

Fallout 2 is the most memorable, followed by Counter-Strike(LAN parties FTW! Fuck online gaming).
