Apologies. Basing this loosely off a Hundred Years' War type of thing, so I thought it fitting. So, when I saw the title I got hyped for how awesome a story about Essos during that time period would be, then it was this... Yeah.
Yeah same. Its still interesting although the title is very misleading. So, when I saw the title I got hyped for how awesome a story about Essos during that time period would be, then it was this... Yeah.
Not so. Its a period of time lasting about a hundred years (hence century of blood and not centuries). Volantis tried to name itself successor to Valyria and got beaten back by the city states repeatedly, the God-King of Ibbis was overthrown, the Dothraki sacked a bunch of Qaathi cities, a bunch of cities were flooded in tsunamis etc etc. You got that part right. Basically towards the end of the century of blood is when Aegon launched his conquest of Westeros which itself happened about a century after the Doom of Valyria.Just to be sure, you do realize that the Century of Blood is already a thing? It's the 300 years or so after the fall of Valyria, when everyone was fighting over the scraps of what was left. Actually, the whole geography of a lot of places radically changed during that time, Qarth became a bit player from an empire, the inland sea of the Fisher Queens dried up, Sarnath fell, Gorgoross got wiped out, etc.
I thought it was more iffy on the exact time frame. Nevermind, the wiki supports you on all counts. Not so. Its a period of time lasting about a hundred years (hence century of blood and not centuries).
As for alternate names. Could just go super obvious and call it something like "The Hundred Years War (ASOFIAF)", or something like that. It's up to you man.
Better?Yeah same. Its still interesting although the title is very misleading.
I read the wiki just today for the quest I linked toI thought it was more iffy on the exact time frame. Nevermind, the wiki supports you on all counts.
Yeah, although it wasn't such a big deal before don't worry. Only people who're big GoT nerds would get taken in by the title
