The Senju clan faded out of existence due to the rapid loss of their ninja tradition through most of the clan, and through intermarrying with other clans and with the civilians of Konoha. They bred themselves out of existence.

They just didn't care hard enough to stay as ninjas, or as senjus, on a clan level.
 
Actually, wasn't the Kyuubi summoned into the Senju clan compound, thus almost instantly killing off every Senju still in the village and Tsunade only survived because she was busy being depressed about Dan elsewhere?

The safehouse where Kushina was giving birth wasn't even /in/ the village proper.
 
Hm. It was released in the safehouse first and then summoned into Konoha after Tobi teleported there, as far as I recall.

Tobi summoned it in a street though, can't remember a Senju compound. I'll rewatch that episode sometime or wikisurf.

This theory has some deep connotations.

If the Senju name died out through intermarriage, then basically most of the village are Senju descendants...

Maybe thats why most of Konoha hated the Uchiha? It was genetic :D

It might also be one of the reasons Konoha ninja have that quality over quantity thing going. Senjus had no hereditary bloodline beyond being really good at whatever ninja art they tried.

I wouldn't be surprised if they suffered serious attrition, at least among the leadership level as well.
After all, while the timeline is notoriously poorly defined, we know that the first Hokage died shortly before the First Ninja World War (or at its beginnning) and the Second Hokage died during it, so the Senju lost at the very least two Clan Heads within a few years of each other.

Even if that was all they lost of their elders and leadership, which I kind of doubt, once you add the lack of specific clan techniques or Bloodlines to make a clan structure strictly necessary to maintain, that both Hashirama and Tobirama exclusively took students from outside of the clan and that the Senju, as founders and providers of the first two Hokage, were unlikely to be unwelcome with other families of the village, it might be that there really was too little holding them together as a clan for them not to disappear into the general population.

You can probably even make similar conclusions for clans who end up having very little presence as clans and appear at most as basically just one family with that name.
Especially once you consider that making the Clan System obsolete was one of the points of establishing a ninja village, non-specialised clans getting absorbed into the general ninja (or even civillian) population over time doesn't seem too farfetched.
 
In this day and age hiden, bloodline limits, and persecution are the only forces that are somewhat guaranteed to preserve a clan's integrity.
Of course, get the wrong ratio of those things and you might just see the clan shatter instead. (IE, use too much persecution while they lack enough of the other things to consider insurrection.)

I see a few guesses at the invisitext. The memorial one is fairly obvious in retrospect, but the other ones are a bit harder to correctly guess :D

Even if it's a chakra related trait, shouldn't the trait from chakra control be in...the traits section of the charsheet?

Looking over the charsheet, even assuming Hibiki starts the academy a year younger than normal (IE, in 5-6 (4-5 now, since we just passed a month?) months when it's next open for admissions), he'll almost certainly be starting with at least Older Student level in everything, and early genin level in at least a few things.

Uchiha Geniuses are one hell of a drug.
 
Yeah. I assume Itachi was older student/genin level when he entered the academy, and he left it even stronger. That's roughly the scale you'll play.

Only reason Itachi didn't make chunin earlier than ten was because of his two teammates dying and quitting the ninja job respectively.

He then took the chunin exams a year or two later...without a team.

I do hope we can get in at five and some months, match Fucking Hatake for crazy records :p

Or then...it's possible that having us at the same training as him might have accelerated him somewhat, so we'd both possibly be entering a year early, if Hibiki was...

Itachi's not a whole year ahead of you; just months. You'll be turning five yourself next month.

Since the war is all but over, ages will be raised to six; it'll need a bit of string pulling from Fugaku to get you in at five. Itachi will naturally go along with.

As a wartime batch, your sister is still set to graduate at her regular time, which is by the next academic session. Shisui will snatch up a headband too.

I was referring to the timeline rather'n age when I said 'in advance'. Canon Itachi was six and several months when he entered the academy, all 'older student/early genin'd up...we're going to do it at 5 and some months.

'Course, Itachi'll beat canon Itachi too, probably...

And then the Uchiha prodigies other than Shisui matched Kakashi's record.
