You do realize that they only saw the unsanctioned technology right?Better than being a random Abhuman who's difference don't show up in his DNA and strange heretical technology... I think. DAoT was so advanced that he could simply wave everything away.
Oh he could totally remove them. It's just that edgy identity and/or body integrity/agency/expression reasons prevent him from doing so. Something about taking validation from the act of refraining from self-modifying in the face of societal rejection or something to that effect.Plot hole still remains. If his biotech can reverse Genestealer seeds, it can also reverse fox ears or tails.
Anyways, the MC did seem to recognize the 40k universe, yet he willfully ignored all potential dangers regarding the Warp, including the creation of AI and magi-tech weaponry.
By this point, there isn't any logical reason why his tech shouldn't be infested with daemons and many other eldritch entities.
Also, perhaps only a personal foible, but too many powers too soon make for a short and not very engaging story. Spread them out over decades, and meantime work on all the little things like character growth, personal relations and so on.
PS: while the Tyranids are a great adversary with nice perks and resistances, there are a few problems.
Hive World Necromunda is not being devoured by a swarm right now, so there is no reason for Tyranids warforms to infest a Hive City.
Genestealers are dangerous, but are still only augumented humans, often sporting extra arms, long claws or other minor mutations, not unbreakable carapace.
Lastly, most Tyranids are quite easy to kill, even with lasguns or high-caliber bullets. They win by numbers not by super armor, except their bio-titans the size of a ten-story building.
