Video Games General

Been playing Destiny for awhile and since the last gun games I've been playing were Remnant II and boomer shooter games

I can say this almost instinctively just makes me think of back when I played Halo, a decade at least back….how much was recycled?

Bungie started working on Destiny before Halo 3 ODST released, that's why there's a bunch of posters in the game saying Destiny with a picture of the Traveller on them.
This also doesn't mean anything was recycled, Bungie has a distinctive style of gameplay so of course games are going to feel familiar unless they go out of their way to do something different.

The planets' individual levels keep feeling like I'm starting off in the same area, regardless of quest

Almost the same landscapes and corridors, feels like I'm in the same place again and again whether it's on the moon or on earth
