Blood West: Scavengers
They added a new enemy: bounty hunters. Here I am sitting and wondering "who the fuck put a bounty on my guy? The zombies? The cultists?" Anyway, the bounty hunters supposedly sometimes shoot the other monsters. They also just exist to steal your bullets, multiple headshots do nothing. First encounter with one was in the single digit days, damn near got assassinated by it while in the Load Screen if it didn't Spawn in pointed the opposite direction. Luckily this Day had a Glass Cannon Mutator. The Mutator makes enemies do 1000% more Damage and hear you easier but the trade off is they're all 1HP (also I love this Mutator. I'm never doing a single mission without this Mutator again). Second bounty hunter just was patrolling like a skin seeker, didn't help they look like them. It was a supply run, these things weren't supposed to be there but the randomizer decided they were to be.

Also something I saw happen:
There's deathsquads that rove about. Saw an entire pack of miner zombies Spawn in right in front of me. For reference those are the weakest enemies in the game. Later saw a group of risen which are the second weakest, had a defiler with them. From the Forums I Know I that I have been getting lucky. People have had trouble with broken screams doing that. For Reference they're invisible, do heavy damage, are fast, and have outrageous amounts of HP. They also show up in clusters in the Base Game just for that added "fuck you". Same goes for Hellbears which have more HP then all three Chapter Bosses combined, two heads that decide their method of attack, and can both move fast enough to catch trains, kill you in a single swipe, and a ranged attack.

Luckily the chapter specific venders sell the artifacts usually in their chapters. Unfortunately I'm gotta havta put the Undead back together to get the fucking gunslinger hat.

I picked the Vigilante for my Scavenger. Fairly obvious he's a Dark Tower Reference after the fifth time he said "not today, Doomlords!". I thought there might be something different for each of them but I get the feeling that's not the case and they all start out with two rusty revolvers and just enough ammo for both.

I'll probably stop this one immediately. I really don't like Rogue-anything Games. I want my gains to actually feel meaningful and not like I just created an entirely new playthrough everytime I die and feel like every run is gambling (I actually hate gambling). Only exception is Monster Train. This one especially feels like it's just Rogue with no "like/lite".

Nah, they've all got different weapons. Preacher has a crossbow, the Dude has a rusty axe and knife, etc. When you die, you can't pick that scavenger for the following run. I know because I suck and keep dying. :V

Benefits of having 5 runs worth of Playtime and 2 for DMP: I never get to see what happens when I die. Although I still am gonna complain about the bounty assassin even if it didn't get me. That thing was sitting there and I got lucky not to have my run ended by the game literally cheating.

Best advice I can give is the same Jim gives: running away is the best tactic for survival. A raven skull and the watch combo into a "get out of death free" card per skull (9/10 it's falling to death I'm escaping).

Aside from that simply think tactically. Enemies can't mantle surfaces nor crouch and lunges aren't jumping although various enemies have means to account for their lack of leaps. They're also astoundingly good at pathing, revealing when certain ledges are secretly inclines. Guns, while not silent, are surprisingly quiet. If being chased always keep a shotgun in reserve (unless it's the big bois or a rangey boi. The later you just need to learn to do the Elegant Dodge Dance while the former is watching attack patterns and jump out of range while opening up on the head). I can't help with the broken screams. Hate those things, supposedly they're weak to shotgun blasts and melee attacks and are supposed to be more a threat from being invisible but my experience tells me they're a threat even if they weren't invisible. Scallywags can be dealt with by baiting them into molotoving themselves.
