I am indescribably happy that Reality Intrudes is available in the lineup. The Matrix was kinda formative for me, it was my gateway to Ghost in the Shell and all things cyberpunk, despite the utter face plant that the 3rd movie ended up being. Seriously, the movie was a bog standard supermen fight while the game had the final boss being a bunch of Agent Smith's turning into King Kong!
I always liked the idea that the humans got it wrong when they said the machines wanted us as power sources. Like that idea makes no sense, just keep people comatose and husband the nutrients you feed the 'battery'. However! if humans act as biological, nonbinary, 3d oriented RAM things can begin to make more sense: you need an active and healthy brain if you want to be able to use the frightfully efficient human brain as either a CPU, GPU (or anything graphics related given how spatially aware humans are), RAM or some clarktech variant thereof.
