I'm a little bit disappointed that the previously inactive stories re-entered the voting pool with their vote counts zeroed out. MirrorVerse used to have a total of 1140 :(

The only changes are: a) I've added my on-hiatus stories back into the voting list, and b) I'll be doing the top two instead of the top one every month. That's it. No lower limit on the number of stories to vote for, no changes in how the vote points are counted. This is because I said I wanted input, and I got the input, so I took notice and didn't change that part.

So yes, it's okay if you submit vote lists with fewer than 6 stories.

It caused a few formatting issues, which prompted me to fix (some of) the poorly implemented formatting. Also taught me a new (to me) but obvious in hindsight spreadsheet function.

The record section of the sheet and how I measure my accuracy will need a rework that I'm not doing today, though.

I honestly wouldn't trust the next few predictions, due to lack of data and the newly added stories possibly changing everyone's voting habits

Well, to absolutely nobody's surprise, MirrorVerse romped in on the strength of the 1140 points it came back in with, plus the 10 votes on top. War Games also got top billing, so it gets a chapter as well, woo! As for the next month's winners ... hmm. One More Trigger and Recoil are well up there, so I'm going to say they're the best bets for March. As for the other newcomers in the field, nearly all of them got some love, which is nice. Some more than others, but that's to be expected. It's what voting's all about, after all. Thank you all for giving me valuable feedback for how I'm doing this.

Check out Sleepyfoo (once things settle down) for a reasonable prediction.

Note: As Collateral Damage, Earning Her Stripes, Reality Intrudes and Snek is a Good Boy are based on short, sharp chapters you'll be getting two 3-4K chapters each time either one comes up, instead of one 7K+ chapter.

For anyone who hasn't voted on this thread before, the voting rules go as follows:

1) UP TO six votes. I will not count anything extra, and a write-in will likely be ignored (if I want to write a different story, I will, but at my own discretion). Suggestions are welcome, but I am under no obligation to carry them out. And just remember, the more stories I am writing, the longer it will take for your favourites to roll back around.
2) First vote is worth six points, second is worth five, and so on.
3) You can't vote twice on the same story. The voting code will count the last vote and ignore previous ones.
4) If I say "Voting is CLOSED", then this post comes up, with "Voting is OPEN" at the bottom, then you can vote again.
5) If I say "Voting will continue", it's still the same voting period. Voting has not restarted. You can not vote a second time.
6) When I have finished a few of the current fics, I will look at bringing stories back on to the list.
