The site has now migrated to Xenforo 2. If you see any issues with the forum operation, please post them in the feedback thread.
Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com.
Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.
I've not added a word to it in at least 10 years, probably over 15.
Why? Because I got into the habit of turning off autocorrect. It's the first thing I do when I set up a word processor (whether new computer or just new software). It's just a terrible cost-benefit; the chance of it catching something I don't automatically catch myself would be less than 0.1% the chance of it misfiring on my large vocabulary. I was on TV once in the finals of a spelling bee; it's rare that I even need to check the spelling of a word, let alone get it confidently wrong.
(I still remember this. For anyone not willing to click the link and/or who doesn't understand it: on SB back in 2010, before CrW took off, Foamy and Squishy were having fun annoying the userbase with eye-searing text colours, so Reaperman - at the time still an active admin, as this was years before the Athene Incident - turned their usernames pink. I, being the court jester I am, corrected Reaperman's spelling in the post in which he declared he'd done it. Reaperman declared that I'd be banned for one day for every spelling or grammar error anyone found in any of my posts. ArchAngel, who hated me for some reason - I legitimately don't know why - decided he'd go through my post history in order to get me banned for ages... but after going through my then-most-recent 400 posts he had only found one instance of the discouraged usage "noone". I didn't get banned; I think Reaperman was impressed. That was definitely after I'd stopped using autocorrect.)
