Hi everyone,

I'm working on a Worm OC and I've come up with two different power ideas, but I can't decide which one feels more fitting for the setting. I'd love some feedback. The power is for a character that is part of a group that operates similar to the early Undersiders
P.S. you can let me know if the powers are bad or my descriptions, I am new to this

Specter Power
The user can manifest a ghostly specter version of himself that shifts between three forms: a fast, versatile Normal Form for grapples and strikes, a dense Hard Form for defense (it is slow in this form, so not viable to stay in this form just to protect the user or allies from attacks), and a flexible Elastic Form for surprise mobility and slingshot attacks. The specter can either manifest fully in one form or be limited to projecting individual limbs from nearby surfaces for grappling or utility.
The Specter can be damaged and broken in which the user needs to projecthe specter again. The specter comes out of him then becomes physically. He can disapate and bring out he specter as needed.

Tendril power
The user can create tendrils that extend from solid surfaces and himself, he can only control a limited about of tendrils at a time, he can use the tendrils to attack someone, grab objects or people and more. The user can choose how big to make the tendrils but the bigger the tendril is the harder it is to control and move

Why not Specter? That seems to kinda fit right into Worm best. I mean, look at Lustrum. Her power allows her to summon a ghost that absorbs energy and will.
