chapter had to be shortened, roughly about a thousand words are gone now. It's gonna have a few mentions of triggering things, but I'm going accurate on how things were in this age. It is my hope that I can peace together a reasonable route which 1. makes the British normal I.E. giving them good food, not soggy toast with brown gravy (that's a legit recipe) 2. get rid of the integral racism of the era. mostly will occur in Britain, but will spread to other parts of Europe.

George Dunmer is going to get a bit more character in this chapter. He's the psycho madman I envision. and you get to glimpse just a small bit of the atrocities the madlad will commit. Average IFunnier level shit.

Chapter V
Tokugawa Ienari

It had been four months since he had last seen Matsuda Hiro, and the boy was still as strong as ever. Just like his father he was unusually tall, and had those strange green eyes, like Jade. "Invaders, you say...?" He rubbed his beard. Red coats mean the British, and although they had little to no interaction with them, he knew that they would not invade. Moreover, besides that incident in Nagasaki harbor, The British never caused problems for Japan.

From what He could tell, this seems to be a misunderstanding. While those British vessels were large, there was no way they could carry as many men as Hiro was saying, and even then, an Invasion would have many more, with many cities being attacked.

This all seems like a misunderstanding, and hopefully it could be smoothed out. he bade Hiro to continue his story, and what he said next, truly angered him. "My father wanted to stop this force, and to stop it he decided that taking out their leader would be enough to cripple them. I... saw my father die, but he did kill their leader."

Damn Takayoshi. The British were known as the strongest Kingdom in the world, and as much as Ienari would not like to admit it, Japan was not ready for a war. Perhaps sweeping this under the rug would be for the best. If he acted fast... he turned to the nearby Eunuch. "Write to Yamauchi Toyoatsu, I want all of them killed immediately. Burn the bodies and leave nothing left." The Eunuch bowed, before silently leaving. By Buddha, what a mess.

George Dunmer

Life was good. There was nothing better than being able to do as you pleased! Nobody to stop you, to order you to stop, order you to do this or than in the name of some fat king.

Though the damned Dutch were stirring up trouble. It all began when his men tried to get a bit of arse. Turns out a dutchwomen had stowed around the damned locals and when his men went to get their cocks wet… Personally I can't understand, all women just need a little fucking, but apparently she got away after his men had their fun and now the Dutch had called for his head.

Didn't matter much, Dutchmen were fickle. I've had my due on them, a few refused to kneel, but many joined my fleet. After killing that sodding brat I've taken the three ships I made off with and grew it to an Armada of Seventeen ships. Not enough to fight the Dutch head on, but soon… soon he shall be the richest, strongest pirate in the world!

But of course every Pirate needs a good well defended cove? And for that he has the nice city of Palu. Oh of course it was hard, the savages fought hard against his men, but of course plenty of the men fought, and were turned to mush against the cannonfire. Leaving few men and plenty of women for his men. A perfect ending, isn't it? Of course he had to get rid of the savage name for the land, Georgetown was a much better name for this decrepit place.

The town wasn't much, just a bunch of shacks on the shore. So of course he couldn't have that. What men were left had their uses, good work to get things moving. Plenty of tree's and voila!

I watched as young James raised my Flag above my cove, and couldn't wait for the battles to come.

I've been a soldier all my life. It was simple work, it is. 'Course it wasn't all pleasant. Fighting in India was a pain in the arse, and the savages there made it no easier, I mean truly he had never faced such harsh fighting anywhere else. But they brought the crown a lot of monies, thus he had to fight for the lands there. But he wasn't in India. Japan, if what the good sir prince said, was VERY far off of the Indian lands. So far off he had no Idea how we even ended up this far. Divine Intervention was what some say, yet he believed it to be bad luck.

First it was the death of Good General Anson, then it was the Mutiny. Some of the men were angered, fearful of what could have happened. They tried to run, but Prince Victor… he hung them. It hadn't been the first time he had seen men swing, but very few had he played cards with the night before.

Truly I will miss those men, but that is life. You never disobey a royal, not unless another royal countermands them.

I sighed, but is life. Perchance they would be forgiven, but he doubted so. Many of those lads were Papist after all.

Suddenly, a rumbling in the bushes brought his attention. Not taking the chance of another sneak attack by these dishonorable Japanese, he swung, his musket at the ready. The men to his left and right following.

Out of the bushes came a man, with a strange reed hat, and cloth that looked half cloth half plant, and he was carrying a small swine, probably sickly. The man brought his hands up and dropped the pig, and spoke in his native tongue. But he couldn't understand the strange blabbering.

"I shall speak to him." the Prince said, surprising even me. Would the prince truly lower himself to speak to mud ridden savage?! "Your grace do you think it wise-" Good Sir Busch said, but the Prince brought a hand up, and dismounted his steed.

"Kon'nichiwa, Anatahadare?" The prince said, quite strangely. Somehow knowing the language of these yellow savages. The savage was surprised, and fired back in a calm tone "Watashi wa Sakai Ken. Watashi wa hantā de hitoridesu. Watashi o korosanaide kudasai, onegaishimasu"

The Prince stood for a moment, perhaps pondering the mans words, before answering. "Jibun o kōfuku sa seru koto ni dōi shi nasai,-sō sureba sore wa jitsugen shinaideshou" The man nodded, and Prince Victor turned to us. "Lower your weapons." and we did as commanded. The Prince turned to the man, and said to his guards, and spoke under tongue, before mounting up. Two of his guards of course did as ordered. Seemingly searching the Japanese man.

All they found was of course the bow the man had and a dull knife.

Lord above this was trivial.

Prince Victor
Ken Sakai was a rather nice man once you get to know him. He was a Hunter, gathered food for a nearby village. But he had a much more… noble beginning. He was apart of the Sakai clan, but did not agree with many of their tenets. After a spat with his father, Sakai Tadayuki, he left Obama, and found himself in Tosa, where we are apparently at.

He was rather forthcoming, but wasn't happy over the fact we were technically invading. But he knew these lands, and I promised to keep my men in line so long as he lead us to Kochi, which I plan to take. It would allow my men to get good food, we were running low on food and Ammunition was not enough to last any long period.

Though it does seem disease was low, me telling my men to shit in one place instead of everywhere did help a bit.

We are roughly a good day away from Kochi, and in all honesty, I hope my plan works. I've never visited Kochi castle in my time, though I had been to Nagasaki a time or two. But still, modern warfare and castle's never mix. If I could I would bombard the bastard till it collapsed, but even I can't do that. I need the caches, I need the Ammo. More Importantly, I need a foothold.

Without somewhere to have as a base of operations, this invasion will fall flat. I have to earn my stripes, prove myself. I know I can do this, they never called me the Tiger of Tehran for nothing after all.

Okay, a lot happened here. For context and simplicity, I merely ask that you quote anything then ask. but for simplicity sake, no I am not racist. my end goal is to get rid of the integral racism in this time, I merely show it because unlike some people I prefer to show the truth of the past, not just the glory.

George Dunmer is made to be the literal worst human being I can image. But don't expect much to happen to him, at least anytime soon. Oh sure there will be a situation where he bites off more than he can handle, but that is some time in the future. But he will get his due, simply not in a way you will expect. Evil breeds Evil after all.

Second off, we get to see a new character, Ken Sakai. He will be rather important going forward, so stay tuned for the Siege of Kochi, Pt. 1-3.

Edit: Toyoatsu was the proper Daimyo. Toyoshige was his son and heir

You forgot to threadmark,
Thanks for the chapter.

Thanks for the chapter. Tokugawa is making a big mistake.

I would say he's making a good one. The Milk has been spilt and to avoid any bad smells he must get rid of it. With the death of a British General he knows he will have to make concessions to the British, and if he can avoid them, say: getting rid of the problem before it arises, then all power to him. He believes he faces an undermanned army with a shattered leadership. In most situations, should he be able to control word of mouth then he is wholly right in his judgment. It would avoid nastiness and this tactic has been used innumerable times in history, most of them we don't know of. I would say that even America (especially America) has done this before.

Thanks for chapter. So,Tokugawa try and fail to kill them.So what? samurais could not capture ships/guns/,but british could not conqer anything inland - samurais have muskets, too.
Kind of stalemate. You could not conqer Japan with 1825 technology, only bombard their coastal cities and sunk ships.
Besides - Japan in 1825 had nothing which was worth taking.

P.S Pirate with 17 ships in 1825? not possible, somebody would kill him long ago.
