Wildcards in tags

Hi all, I would like to know if it is possible to add wildcards to tags to include/exclude or tags that contain x characters. I personally dislike gender bender stories, and the amount of tags I have to filter out has gotten ridiculous .

I mean look at this:

drive.google.com

And I'm pretty sure that there are other tags that have also been broken down in 20 different tags for the same thing.

QQ is not AO3, tags are neither regulated, required, or "wrangled". They exist purely so authors can make their stories more findable to people looking for specific content or avoidable for people trying not to read certain content.

We only switched to XF2 not quite a year ago, and tags basically didn't exist on XF1. They didn't show on half the XF1 skins (and even on the ones that did show them, they were only visible from inside the thread) and basically just existed as extensions of the title for search purposes (you could also search for all stories tagged with a specific, singular tag). The bulk of stories on this site were tagged with the assumption that tags are for warnings and bits of story summary, not search tools, and generally still are.

As for wildcards? No, you can put asterisks in tags, searching for "gender*" for example would just exclude stories tagged with "gender*".
