Simply offer a two-choice ultimatum. The next poster MUST answer before offering a new two choice ultimatum for the next poster.

Let's start with me:

Would you rather get your left arm sawed off or your right arm blown off?

f**k. 'would you rather no longer jack off, or no longer be able to do anything?'

sh*t. i'm gonna go with getting my left arm being sawed off.

would you rather live in humid heat or windy cold for the rest of your life? (for this, you can't move away)

Well as a Californian, I know what heat feels like, and the humidity is not something I want to go through.

On the other hand, windy cold is not for me because I'll be shivering out of my ass a lot. Actually, since I have winter clothes, and I can wear a jacket with a mask to cover myself, I'll take my chances with the wind. I don't want to sweat a lot.

Would you rather have a dog that is active 24/7 or a cat that is playful with you 24/7?

damn. this is not easy, is it? i feel like a cat active 24/7 is inevitably gonna scratch the hell out of me. but a dog could bite, too... to be honest, i feel like i'd pass out either way, soo, cat.

a dog is almost guaranteed to need to go outside for walks or play. but a cat can at least acclimate to an indoor environment better, i'd think. yeah, kitty cat. not looking forward to the piles on my pillow, though.

would you rather have a lifetime supply of candy, or a lifetime supply of health supplements?

Health supplements by far.

Would you rather through some strange quirk of fate accidentally pee outside of the toilet half the time you go to the bathroom to pee or get a unscratchable itch on your back for two minutes every time you say the word "The"? The timer refreshes every time you say "The".

i feel like cleaning quantum-tunneling piss is somehow less manically-frustrating than an unsolvable itch. i'm assuming you can at least clean the piss, right? an itch somewhere you can't scratch is... well, people with casts manage. but it's also not all the time.

so, piss for me.

would you rather you have a computer that never runs out of power, or a book that has never-ending content?

Yes, you can clean it. The stinky part about it is when you're at other people's houses/events and you have to ask them to borrow cleaning supplies.

Always on computer vs infinite book eh? Is the computer future-proofed? What are the specs of the computer, and does the book content conform to what you wanna read, or is it completely random? As much as I'd love an infinite book, If I'm stuck reading 1820 census data from Ireland, I might have to go with the computer.

So if the book is random, I'm choosing the computer, but if the book is personalized I'm going with the book.

Thread Tax: Would you rather have an extra thumb on your left or right hand?

off hand. which for me is left hand. more support, stability, utility. i hold stuff with my left hand. Books, cups, phones. it's the doer hand rather than the maker hand.

would you rather be able to see ghosts, or breathe underwater?

p.s. and for the book. i had it in my own mind like the oghma infinium. it's all the knowledge you would ever want, written in a format perfect for comprehension. i tend to ask questions where i already have silly answers in mind. same with the candy vs the supplements. i was going through whether or not it would be more profitable to take the candy and resell to middle and high-schoolers, or if hitting the supplement crowd with their favorites.

I want to see that sunken city in China, can't remember the name, but you know what it is, so I'm choosing breathing underwater.

Would you rather get shanked by a homeless man or get shot by a thug?
