You had fought on the beaches, in the forests, and in the cities. Yet whatever Remnant could throw at the Aliens was worthless, as they brought some of the worst fighting Remnant has seen in years. Grimm overran some of the outside villages as the fighting went on, and soon ADVENT's flag flew over the Huntsman Academies. Ozpin disappeared in the fighting, some cynical folk say he died in the Battle of Beacon, others say he's in hiding. As for Ironwood, Qrow, Glynda, and the rest, they went underground to create the Remnant Resistance. But it was fractured, barely standing on its own two feet.

It's been five years since then, ADVENT having rebuilt and made themselves appear as gods to the people. Now that the years have passed, you were captured and imprisoned in one of ADVENT's citadels, your 'relocation' scheduled for tomorrow. A shame really, you wished to keep fighting till your last breath. But now...Now you're just rotting in a cell, waiting for your eventual demise.

Ain't life a bitch?

But it isn't all bad, at least you didn't kneel before ADVENT like most of the people of Remnant. Thinking back on it all, where did you build the Resistance? The fires of war had turned your men into something better than they once were.

[] Pick A Kingdom
-[] Vale: The home of the once prestigious Beacon Academy, Vale is now home of the fallen XCOM Project, created by the Kingdoms to combat both extraterrestrial and terrestrial threats that threaten the people. Now only remnants of the XCOM Project live in the underground of Mountain Glenn, hiding from sight and from any Grimm that pass by their base.
Bonus: Cloak & Dagger (+15% Intelligence Gain, Decrease Covert Operation Time)
Leader: Glynda Goodwitch
Description: One of Ozpin's most trusted advisors, she was told of the XCOM Project before he disappeared into the shadows. She's known as the 'Iron Lady' among the Resistance, and is one of the few to give them the discipline needed to survive.
Leader Bonus: Iron Discipline (+10 to Will)
Heroes: Professor Peter Port & Doctor Bartholomew Oobleck

-[] Mistral: Home of the still functioning Haven Academy, it's used as a fortress to train ADVENT Personnel and monitor 'dissenters'. Lionheart still runs the institution, while the XCOM Resistance lives on the fringes in some of the most dangerous wilderness around. It's not uncommon for some Resistance Operatives to disappear at night, so be careful.
Bonus: Spirits Of War (Soldier Cost Halved, +10 Accuracy)
Leader: Pyrrha Nikos
Description: The invincible girl herself, nobody is sure on how she came into contact with the XCOM Project. But what is known, is that Pyrrha is a commander who won't leave her soldiers behind. Sometimes she'll even dive into the thick of it to save her boys, leading to some to affectionately nickname her 'Mama Wolf'.
Leader Bonus: The Pack Of Wolves (+5 Aim, +5 Accuracy)
Heroes: Team JNPR

-[] Atlas: Home of the now derelict Atlas Facility, General Ironwood led the last stand of the Atlas Military where ADVENT unleashed some of their most devastating weaponry. Commander Ironwood and most of his associates survived, but many of the men underneath his command were frozen in time by some of ADVENT's bio-weapons...Or turned into something worse.
Bonus: Minds Of A Fallen Age (Higher Quality Equipment, Research Time & Cost Halved)
Leader: General James Ironwood
Description: The former leader of the Atlas Military, now serving as the official Commander of the XCOM Project. After the failed last stand of Atlas' Military, Ironwood gathered who was left underneath his command and dropped into the shadows.
Leader Bonus: War Machine (+3 to all Stats)
Heroes: Winter Schnee, Ciel Soleil, & Penny Polendina

-[] Vacuo: The sandblasted wastes of Shade Academy loom over the abandoned city, where nobody dares to tread from the terraformed cities around it. But this is where XCOM resides, hiding away in the broken down academy. With the scorching sun above it, they make do with whatever they can.
Bonus: Blood, Sweat, & Gears (Construction & Engineering Project Costs are Halved, +15% Supply Gain)
Leader: Sun Wukong
Description: Nobody's sure how Sun 'The Golden Monkey' Wukong became Commander of the XCOM Project, but what is known is that he's damn good at it. Using his experience from leading Team SSSN, Sun's used his expertise to steal and teach his soldiers how to survive.
Leader Bonus: Fell Off A Truck (Higher chance for Loot, Some Armed with Mag Rifles)
Heroes: Team SSSN

-[] Menagerie: The birthplace of the White Fang Movement, now home to the Sable Claw and XCOM. The Sable Claw is a splinter group of the White Fang, lead by the Belladonna Family and whoever remained loyal to them during the Schism.
Bonus: Dogs of War (Soldier Cost Halved, Faunus Night Vision)
Leader: Ghira Belladonna
Description: The gentle and once pacifistic leader of the White Fang, now leading the remains of the XCOM Project and the Sable Claw. He's known for his grand speeches decrying ADVENT, and for treating each of his soldiers as if they were his own family.
Leader Bonus: Awaken The Sleeping Giant (+5 to Aim, Soldiers have +1 HP)
Heroes: Ilia Amitola & Kali Belladonna

[] Allies:
-[] The Reapers
Leader: Scarecrow
Description: Few know about the alcohol loving and information gathering Scarecrow, what is known is that he's a master of intelligence gathering. While he himself prefers close combat to his followers long ranged marksmanship, Scarecrow still commends them for their skills. Interesting fact, it's known that he has a niece that went missing during the Last Stand of Beacon, and offers a veritable wealth of knowledge to the man or woman who finds her.
Bonus: +15% Supply Gain

-[] The Skirmishers
Leader: Sihn Mirdir
Description: Sihn Mirdir, one of the first ADVENT Troops on Remnant to break free of ADVENT Control, and the first Skirmisher to take up arms against ADVENT. She has made the promise that her brothers and sisters will be free from the Elders' control, feeling that their callous disregard for life in general is a disgusting farce of what a true benevolent empire should be.
Bonus: Decreases Research & Engineering Projects by 15%

-[] The Templars
Leader: Arslan Altan
Description: A survivor of ADVENT's Psionic Experimentation, she's since reunited with her team...Though Arslan was left a bit eccentric because of it. Mostly through gallows humor or focusing on the psionic energy coursing through herself, she spends most of her free time trying to remember the small things of her personal life. While it may seem that she's a terrible choice for a leader, her tactical mind has remained sharp as ever.
Bonus: Decrease Recovery Time by 15%
