Legion Notes
It's a giant crab. It's about well Let's say Seven feet tall and about 13 feet wide and those claws of it's? Those suckers are around five feet wide and could take you down pretty quick if they hit ya. Good thing this guys rather stupid and slow. Long as you keep your Eyes on him and the dust he kicks up when traveling in the sand? You shouldn't have any trouble at all.
Something about is off however right now but I can't put my finger on it.
Hmm
Everyone climbs up to high/rocky place.
Symbiosis, it's a beneficial relationship between organisms. For example a creature that cannot come far from the ocean and a creature that isn't good at catching it's own prey. The other creature drives the prey towards the ocean and the Ocean Creature kills it.
But this example is much different.
What happens if a creature is naturally attracted to the chemicals another produces. Or how another lures them in. It doesn't matter does it.
The trees you are on are being swarmed with an odd monkey-ish lizard creatures.
The Lizard creatures and the Trees, The Beach and the Crab, what is the third existance?
The third existence is fireball to these vermin. Adeline is barbecuing everything that dares step on her palm throne, and her minions do the same. She waits for the crab to resurface so she can show it *nature's* fury with fire.
Flipping through the book for information with one hand, and firing off constant shocks at any thing that gets close enough with the other, Damien quickly jumps off the tree and makes his way over to Adams rocky location. "So. Crabs, Monkey things. What you think we'll find next?"
Hoping himself to be safe on his rocky area, Adam notices the lizards and the mysterious lack of crab. Adam takes to applying more Gaea Hammers and keeping an eye out, ready to shout a warning at the first sign of something amiss.
Hensworth kicks at the lizard things, storing his anchor in favor of being able to slap at the little things too. Damn, those buggers hurt. "Ah! Son of a Tasmanian Devil! These things are everywhere!" He quickly drops off the tree, having had enough of those things. "Jesus, I'd rather take my chances with the crab!"
Alpha tries to sit up. He wobbles. The crashing is louder and he's still moving. Moving towards it. It's when a pleasantly warm feeling envelops his head that he realizes where he is. "W... water. Ocean." He speaks to comfort himself. The tide pools were fine, they were shallow. But something about the water makes him uneasy. He sticks a claw into the wet sand, pulling himself away from the waves cascading down behind him. "No..."
Martin's form, as well as the others, starts to billow and blow faster. It's time to fight these tree hoppers. Joan just charges at them, swirling and blowing, knocking them at the ground with Gale. Carl goes from above, and casts large, long lasting gales down at the lizards. Harriet dashes behind some of the lizards, and blows them from behind. Martin gales at minions to and fro, doing what he can. Florence goes around, blocking attacks from the lizards, so that the other minions don't get hurt.
The Lizard creatures leap off the tree Adeline was on Catapulting her towards the beach.
That rough landing had to hurt.
But the creatures are rather avoidant of her right now.
Seems that they are scared of her.
Hensworth drops down from his tree and sends a few flying towards the forest again.
Total Lizards Killed 5 so far.
Damien fries two more with some lucky shocks

Legion Notes
Ah these little bastards. Annoying buggers aren't they. Basically Scavengers that live around big predators nests they'll quickly come and clean up after them. Only thing left after they are done are bones. However these suckers cannot take a hit to save their lives. I once casually backhanded one and it's brain flew out the back of it's skull.
Or wait that just may be me. But still, these guys are wimps. Fragile ones at that. A few more dead ones and they'll run away.
The Crab erupts out of the Ground.
It's eyeing Adeline right now. And that hole in the shell is rather exposed.
A note right now. If you don't finish getting rid of the Goyles? Then they'll go straight after the Crab after it dies.
They don't care where they get meat from after all.
Adam spots a few Crocodiles sunning on the other side of his rock. They don't really care to move right now. Stuffed at the moment.
"Well then. Let's get right down to it then." Adam says simply. Then, remembering the Crocs, Adam decides to let the others know. "Hey, we might want to finish this up fast. There's some crocs sunning nearby." He yells out before throwing a rock at the exposed spot of the crab.
"'Ello beasty. Wanna play a game? Its called *EINS! DAGGER THROW STAGE TOPLEFT!*"
Adeline parries around the crab, positioning it so Eins can dagger throw through the beast's weakpoint. In the meantime, Adeline flings fireballs at the creature's eyes to further incapacitate it. Should the beast fall, she'll immediately jump on its corpse as a sign of dominance to the scavengers to back off her loot.
Zwei is knocking monkeys off the tree. Secretat is beating them with her notebook.
Seeing a opportunity to scare the Goyles off, Damien quickly blasts his way through to Hensworth, dodging a errant Deluge on the way. Covering the large mans back with repeated shocks from his off hand, he continues activating the ability in his other hand without releasing the energy. "I'll keep them off your back, just let me know when you're gonna fire another blast at them, I got a idea!" Ducking under a monkey and blasting it away for its trouble, Damien waits for his alert, so that he can release the stored charge down into the water as it blasts off towards the mass of creatures.
Hensworth is busy blasting water at lizard monkeys when he hears Damien speak to him. "An idea huh? Alright..." He kicks one of the Goyles away from him. He grips the anchor chain, remembering the man at the gym mentioning another ability he had. "Stay down boy, don't want you to get hit." He takes an hand and pushes Damien down a bit, holding the anchor over his head and beginning to swing it. Once the anchor is in full propeller around his head, he turns to Damien. "Alright boy! Now or never!" Water begins to run down the chain, the liquid spraying everywhere and creating a sheet of water above and around the two men.
It looks like they do not wish to fight much. Martin sees this, and then lets out a howl of wind. The others hear the howl, and respond in turn. Time for a full offensive. Joan looks even more frightening than before, and charges head on at the tree hoppers without stopping, blowing them into trees ruthlessly. Carl blows sand at them, blinding them, so that Harriet can gale them at the ground full force. Florence is blowing tree hoppers away from Adeline and the others. Martin is, well, taking charge. He's swinging his arms left and right, casting Gale each time. He moves forward, blowing at anything that comes near him.
Adam smashes another boulder into it's back widing the hole already there. Adeline casts fireballs at the creatures eyes producing an order that smells rather well let's not go there. It's a good then you can't smell it. Adeline's minion creature's knife is embedded in the flesh that's exposed and now it's not. As the blood propelled it out. High pressure blood spurts? Oh that sounds like it hit something vital.
Good job.
Now you just have to wait. Or stab it some more. I'm not one to judge.
Damien's stunt is actually pretty cool.
Bonus points shall be awarded later.
Drawing in all of the lizards nearby and literally smashing drowning and electrifying them all is a rather mean trick. It is also a very very good trick.
With the crab nearly incapacitated, Adeline jumps onto its back (making sure to avoid the blood spatter; that stuff stains). Before it passes away, she grabs its feelers and thrusts them forward, attempting to drive the creature through the portal where it can be picked apart without fear of scavenging prey.
Eins and Zwei are pushing the monster towards the portal as well. Secretat is trying to wipe the blood off them because that shit rusts up metal like crazy, which is bad considering they ARE metal.
Adam tries to help Adeline get the crab's eventual carcass within easy carrying distance of the portal at the very least, stopping once in a while to watch the crocs to see what they're doing.
After getting his minions pulled off of Biggs and unearthing said minion, Damien makes his way over to the crab. Walking up to the spectacle of Adeline attempting to...well, drive the crab as if it's a new car, Damien is struck by the sheer hilarity of the scene as he climbs up to the top of the crab, doubling over in laughter on top of the shell.
Vari, noticing his masters inability to assist, begins directing his fellow minions in pushing the crab towards the portal like the masters comrades seem to desire.
Hensworth lets out a rich laugh. "That's the stuff!" He nods at all the lizard corpses and walks over to the crab. He grabs a thick leg and turns to the others. "Need some help there, mates?" He helps pull the dying crab towards the portal.
Alpha stands up. Finally away from the ocean. He feels a lot heavier. More dense. He looks down and notices all the flecks in his once clear body. His water is different. Salt water. He glances back at the ocean before wandering over and plopping himself back into the safety of a tide pool. He needed to think. Again.
Picking up the jewel and crab figure, an examination reveals nothing of note, but they still seem like something is important about them. "Hey, I'm gonna go see if Thoth knows anything about this and let Brad know what he missed out on. Meet up with you guys later." Heading off, minions following him stacked up in a tower, he makes his way to the library, entering to find Brad engrossed in a magic theory book and Thoth at a desk, reading a unidentifiable book.
"Hey. Just got back from the water realm. Got a decent haul, killed a giant crab, your minions were really helpful with that by the way man. Anyway, reason I came here." Damien pulls out the jewel and figure, setting them down on Thoths' desk. "Anything you can tell me about these two? I'm getting a strange feeling about them."
"Well now." Adam says, genuinely surprised at the sheer amount of stuff the group has obtained. Then, he breaks out into a radiant smile that seems to illuminate the immediate area. "I'd say that was a nice little venture we just had." Walking over to the pile, something catches his eyes. It's a strange thing, shaped somewhat like a crab and it seems to be... not all there. Bending down, Adam picks it up and feels... something indescribable. Getting a curious look on his face, Adam inspects the thing for a bit before thinking for a moment. Then, standing up, he dusts himself off and turns to the others. "I'm thinkin' this is something we should show Rebecca. I'll go take care of that now if'n no one has any objections."
Adeline summons all of her minions to pick apart the crab carcass, sorting the meat from the shell. She has Maid and Courier (and some of the ice minions) carry it off to a cold storage, while she has the rest drag the shell to the forge. Whomever operates that place might find the shell useful for armor. Better yet, he might find it worth buying for some extra mayoral funds!
Also she has portal guy deal with the meat since he probably has a hula hoop to a freezer dimension or something. Loads more efficient then dealing with minions, especially since he has nothing better to do.
"Alright! This is certainly a great haul gentlemen! And lady, of course." Hensworth nods at Adeline. He takes his money and notices Damien going off to the library. He follows him, intending to pick up Beta.
Beta has been reading. And listening to the 'Thoth' teach 'Brad'. Very interesting. Beta has also found a pronoun. 'She'. She likes it. It's her's now. After pushing away another book, Beta hears someone barge into the library. Another person. This one carries a shiny object and a... statue? Beta hops of the table, stealthily sneaking over and climbing up onto a nearby chair for a better look. Interesting.
Hensworth comes into the library, seeing the three men standing around. "Ah. Hello, blokes. Just came to pick up Beta. Any of you seen the little bugger?"
Brad doesn't bother to look up from his book. "Did you guys find out anything about the corruption? Or the monster in the forest realm? If you find anything just call me. Here's my cell number." Brad hands Damien a scrap of paper, with a phone number written across it.
While Brad is doing things, his minions are taking all of his gold into his room, and throwing it in the closet haphazardly.
"So you return. Normally I don't appraise things. Mostly because I'm lazy. But From what I can tell that's a Crab totem. Basically if you want to get into contact with a Spirit Beast Crab that's your best option. If you don't It's fine. That Gem is an aquamarine. For that and some cash. My brother Zach can make something useful. If you can't tell by the spellshots you have."
With Adeline
She pawns off the Meat duty to Tex.
Tex razzies her when she isn't looking.
She walks towards the forge. With a giant crab shell.
She looks around and sees no one.
A young female voice pipes up.
"Look down."
You see a tiny girl with a blacksmith's hammer.
With Adam
He goes off to meet Rebecca.
"Oh now that is an interesting thing. Something with the power that it's soul couldn't leave the realm. I can use this to fix something up for you instantly if you want. Something like a grocery store or something."
With Hensworth.
"She's been no issue. Smarter then some student's I've taught. You may have to watch out for that one. She'll surprise you that's for sure."
"Well that'd be absolutely delightful m'am. A fixed up grocery sounds great and I thank ya kindly for doing so." Adam nods his head gratefully. Then, he seems to stop to think before remembering something. "Well I'll just leave this soul here and leave you to it then. Thank ya again and have a nice day. I gotta go see my minions real fast."
=================================
The minions are currently pondering what to do about a particularly gnarly looking stump. It's bigger than they are for starters and it appears to be made of stone like wood. Recher keeps kicking it and running around it, trying to see if there's anywhere better to tackle it from. Netto keeps trying to dust the ground around it to find any sort of nice, easily gripped part. Parer is working with Aider to smash it better. And Bris? Bris is no where to be seen. Until Adam walks up and sees the minion, somewhat bigger and bulkier than before, run up with what can only be described as a silly huge rock for the minion's size, and smash the stump with all his might. Seeing the dejected and puzzled looks on their faces, Adam chuckles a bit before walking over to them.
"I'm proud of your work ethic here but ye need to try and think this here problem through. Don't keep smashing it with rocks and such." Bris seems visibly off put by this suggestion but takes it in stride. "Try maybe digging up the dirt around it and packing it back in.... Wait, this yard had more stumps in it. I know it did. How did you..." Adam trails off as he sees the smashed remnants of tree stumps, thousands of wood chips, all sorted into a neat and tidy pile off in the corner. "...Well then. Uhmmmm. I'll let you get back to work then." He says before heading off to the gym. And the minions pile back together, tilting their heads and talking, trying to figure out how to solve the problem of the Rock Tree.
Slipping his phone back into his pocket, Brad's number saved inside, Damien browses the science section while Thoth examines the items. "Well. Thanks for doing that. I'll just go see what Zach can do then. Hensworth can do what he wishes with the totem, I'm sure it would be more useful to him anyway. I'd like to check out this book on electromagnetism though." A nod and a note from Thoth later, Damien makes as if to exit before stopping, pulling out the monocle, and taking a look at Thoth through it.
A look of surprise crosses his face, and he quickly puts it away before once more making his way across town to Zachs, jewel in hand, stopping by Caines shop to pick up a second monocle, having been struck by inspiration earlier. Slipping into Zachs shop, Damien looks around a bit, coming across the light haired man in one of the corners. Curious after examining Thoth with it, he lifts up the monocle and peers through it at Zach, wondering what will be revealed this time.
Adeline crouches down to be eye-level with the young smith. "Starting early with the practice? That's rather admirable; I didn't learn a bit of swords and forgecraft till I was 14. You have my complete respect."
"I have a shell of a giant crab outside; slightly damaged in places but the material is solid; could make some good plate for armor. I was hoping to sell it; you would have more use than I would. There is also the matter of my weapon, not sure what you could do with tempering a frying pan but any improvement is better than nothing."
Adeline lays down the Frying Pan for inspection and waits for a response. One must always respect a craftsman in their trade; artists come in many forms but their work is always uniquely beautiful.
