Just an update on things.
I am alive and healthy-ish.
I have been writing this whole time.
In two weeks I'll be publishing a new fic, two after that will be over the top and likely in December is when the next Black Queen chapter gets released.
Finally caught up on your Danmachi Celestial Grimoire story... got distracted for months. I hope you continue it.

I just saw your post about using a story as a reference for a Stone Age isekai. Bronze Age stories, or more general later era nomadic ones might be useful references. Not sure if that one has horses or just goats, sheep and cows.

Even while crippled I gained notable temporary effects.
I'd use those first as proof as those can be made the fastest.
My ritual took about five Months of prep time. Even with a second participant doing another would take anywhere between 2.5 and a year depending on research and funds as I'd either need to redesign the first to allow for a second participant or make a different one.

No. I unfortunately had a death in my family and I've been dealing with that.

I haven't been interacting with any of my hobbies much recently, but I still think about the fic a lot. No promises on when but I do hope to get back to it soon.

A shit writer would just fight them. A mid writer would bring out the Imperial Court to deter them. In regards to your question about why people hated Veilguard, it boils down to the watered down writing and complete dismissal of almost everything that happened in the previous DA games. It was an adequate action/rpg, just a bad DA game.

In the end, for all that Akainu is kind of an ass, Koby the king of deserters, Buggy never punished for killing a town, etc... I feel like Yasopp is the worst, like those guys just did shit to other people, Yasopp abandoned his wife to raise his son alone while sick and then died of sickness,

but then again, Shanks knew this, and still convinced him to come to sea with him, so maybe Shanks is worse

I feel like all the people writing Condor Heroes fanfics only watched the (one of the many iterations that became the) show, or even only watched the show-summary in short video form, instead of reading the books, because they all think Guo Jing is a "patriotic and selfless" hero

but in the novel, it was Huang Rong, who was taught to be patriotic by her dad, who got them both killed in Xiangyang
