Sorry about the late reply. Been busy with some things. And the storm here nearly flooded stuff, so kinda dangerous.

For your question... Can't really say anything, just neutral about it, since we only know her from S1/Movie. It's a fact she was once a researcher, and she went mad after her daughter's death, so anything else after that would be an author's choice. So there's no really bad choice.

You ever read Diary of an 8-bit Warrior. I read it when I was younger and for what's basically minecraft fanfiction it is somehow really good. It bring up interesting plot points and developments that don't feel out of place in their weird world and the story just kept me wanting more.

Just a little book recommendation in case you haven't heard of it.
