@Crepscularity I got that impression too. He didn't seem to hate foreigners so much as was ignorant of them and assigned fear to them as agents of the unknown.

Lovecraft was a sad, terrified man. Notably, towards the end of his life, he turned things around as best he could. He began to reach out more to people outside his familiarity and repented in his letters of the xenophobia and unthinking racism that characterized his earlier works. He gets credit in my book for that.

Is that still up in the air and you are just taking a break from it or is it done?

The urge to worldbuild in the story to the detriment of the story is a constant companion of the meticulous. Keep the world building to your notes and let the story come first.
Might be better to replace the Chaos Gatcha tag with the:
chaos gacha inspired
Tag that way it stops attracting so many haters
