I really like to imagine that Paul went with his earlier idea of feeding the nascent God of Technology to the Ophidian for a boost, then bursts into Olympus so hard he knocks the giant marble doors straight out of place and they actually fly over and impale themselves in the wall above Zeus's head.

For your bloody evolution story may I suggest the game "subnatica" it is definitely in theme and has many useful tools, like the builder and scanner that can incorporate alien tech and elements.

Yup go on ahead to FGO, it helps a bit but they are separate series. Maybe read the last couple chapter of the FGO prologue on the DC one to get a bit of an idea.

For the most part. I've been struggling with my mindset for the last week or so (basically, I hate being told to worry about things I can't immediately do something about). Most of my hiatus comes from a lull in inspiration and having a bunch of things happen from July through August. Winning an XBox in a raffle did NOT help my productivity, either.
