The urge to worldbuild in the story to the detriment of the story is a constant companion of the meticulous. Keep the world building to your notes and let the story come first.

Reading these entertainment stories, I had no idea who "Big Sunglasses" (大墨镜) is, until someone explained it was Wong Kar-wai (王家卫), and he had some controversies which caused him to be censored here, which isn't uncommon, I mean, even Fan Bingbing is censored, but usually it's because authors don't want to use real name, because, you know, then again, Fan was fined 800MM for tax evasion lmao

It never made sense that the sun wukong inspired pokemon is, for some reason, fire type, instead of rock type... the fighting type can remain, considering the buddhist title at the end of the journey, but the only aspect of sun wukong that is fire is his eyes, but there's no pokemon move that is basically eye beams or whatever
