It is kinda funny, Like Mass Effect 1 really tries to show that while saren was a dangerous turian, there was some good in him before sovereign indoctrinated him despite his prejudice. Both Wrex and Anderson warnings to the player fall a bit flat in execution.

Every time I go back to the Mummy movie with the Dragon Emperor, I get more disappointed and disgusted by it. Portraying the Emperor as a tyrant because he used military force for conquest, but that's what everyone did and still do. Ziyuan cheated on him for his lackey, even today, if you're the boss, your wife cheats on you with your driver, what do you do? Lmao turns into a DND tiamat, not a 龙, wtf is this shit

I guess all of that doesn't matter that much, except that everything has been whitewashed, hollywoodized, and white saviored, idk, like, if they even had the basic respect for source materials, they'd have had more welcome, you know, like a white dude who says 你好 with a weird accent

Also are you writing the entire part 2 at once? Just curious of what you meant by part 2 is getting wrapped up soon in ur last post.
