Like the bare minimum of rules you need to play Jumpchain is: pick an Origin for discounts, take Drawbacks for more points.

Everything else is either situational, fluff, or setting rules and setting rules are often told to fuck off by OCP.

Some of the system penalties for failed missions are "death" or "soul destruction", which I guess scares regular people, or "torturous death" that the author describes to fulfill some unwritten fetish idk, I guess, but the really awful ones are the systems that turn guys into girls and then penalize them with "increase sensitivity by 1000 times", "turned into a meat toilet", and "increase menstrual pain by 10 times"

I sincerely appreciate the encouragement. I actually have a full road map of how that spin off fic should go all the way to the start of ME1. The problem is that every time I work up the creative energy to write I end up having to having to work on something else out.
