I'm not abandoning the story, I've just been busy with school. I wanted the next chapter done before spiderman came out, but school and my beta taking a well deserved vacation have pushed the next chapter back a bit. I'm hoping on next week.

get down off your high horse bruh. there's a whole gamut of AI use from "used it for SPAG" to "used it to suggest stuff" to "used it to outline" to "used it to generate chunks and then edited into decency" to "actually just straight slop". i don't use it myself, never will, but the site isn't "clearly heading towards" anything - that's the AI policy and always has been, they just actually laid it out in detail now.
So when the next project moon x danmachi fanfic because I need something to make me forget that the quality of the series is going down hill
