The meme about headpats in Naruto relates to the Chinese Naruto mobile game, an online fighting game, wherein you can use emojis, and the most commonly used emoji is a cute white head with Naruto whiskers enjoying being headpat by the emoji sender. This is a humiliating emoji because you usually can only chat before or after a match, and usually the headpat is sent by the winner to the loser of the match.

"I don't eat beef" is a meme that is supposed to mean that you're flipping the table or ruining the game for everyone, like not in the way that you're pressing the self-destruct button but that you have the capacity to utterly destroy the other side and you're going to do it without mercy.

The entire skit doesn't even click for me, but apparently it does for a lot of Chinese audiences, because it's like a meme now. Makes no sense.

Anyway, I'm just wondering if there's an English/International equivalent to this meme?

Like just because it's milk and toast doesn't mean we can't add some honey and chocolate syrup to the milk then top it with some whipped cream and maybe it's sourdough toast so we add some olive oil, garlic, and butter and grill it with some cheese, maybe put a couple pieces of bacon on it too, "mmm, so milquetoast" right? But I guess that's not how the world works, alas.

It's one thing when the writer makes the MC very "American" or whatever, despite the setting being "Fantasy-inspired Japan" or "Chinese immortals" or idk, you might even give having the tone being "American" a pass, but it's like when the writer 'localizes' the entire setting--deportations, not-fentanyl, wishywashy sarcastic MC, poor commons bullying the powerful rich, this bullshit--it's so hard to keep reading argh

Updates may start being inconsistent I'm setting some College things for the New Semester that's the bad news. The Good News that I'm halfway done with the next Chapter of Amaterasu's Entertainment I'm working on the Chapter trying to get all the Grammar and making sure the dialogue is right.
