But whenever I go really fast in reading a bunch of phrases, my mind just doesn't have enough time to imagine the scene. It's good for skimming, but I can't even imagine getting any enjoyment out of a story without being able to imagine at least the visuals and audio of a scene.

Yesh I used to read really fast when I read Chinese webnovels. About 150k words a day 😆 maybe 300k if I wasn't also writing a few chapters a day.

Anyway, the capitol is called the 4-9 City because 4 gates, 9 districts, because that's how the city looks like, and the 9 districts is like a tictactoe grid, so at the center is obviously the emperor's place, so it's called the 9-5 seat, if you count it from right to left, top to down. But this is only the current capitol, back in Chang An, it was the 9-2
