Sometimes I feel like Jinyong and most Wuxia fans are kind of braindead stupid, like they know how important footwork is, or 轻功, but they believe shit like Zuo Botong's Ambidexterity Technique works by just having your arms do different things; "draw a circle with one hand and a square with the other", then you can use multiple techniques at the same time. But this doesn't take footwork into consideration at all..

Or even "body", like the simplest punch, it's not just action of the arm, it's also the core, so how can you have both hands do punches while not using your core and still maintain the same power? This makes no sense. And wuxia writers just don't talk about it, well, no one else has this technique appear in their story, so maybe he's the only writer who's retarded

Pretty much burnt out. Between one thing and another, and getting kicked off Spacebattles over Pride Month of all things, I haven't been able to make any real fics. I can't even get really excited about a movie anymore. It's like I got scarred by all the bad entertainments made in movies, tv shows, and games. I can't even think of Marvel or Detective Comics in a positive or exciting way anymore. It sucks.

It's fucking awesome to see God Hand used as it should be—the ultimate Noble Phantasm of the hero who consistently did the impossible, not a measuring stick to show how strong someone is or a counter to be brought down while ignoring the singular might of the holder. The Noble Phantasm of someone who reached into the realm of the gods and requires someone beyond gods to contest it.

I really like how you've handled the characters too. Artoria shows all her will and might (and beauty). Showing the arcane might and genius of the Ars Goetia in manipulating an entire Singularity into a trap was delightful. And it is one horrifying Singularity while still cleaving to the themes of the time period.

It's a passion project, to some degree. I am planning to continue it in the foreseeable future, but right now I'm working on my other passion project and it will be delayed somewhat by that issue.

Basically done all I can to test and try to fix without sticking the mouse in brother's computer to see if it works there, which is waiting because he's out of the house and doing stuff. So guess we'll see on that front in some number of hours.

Okay, quick check confirmed that the new mouse and the old mouse both work as well as they previous did in his set-up. Just not in mine. Whoopee.

So that means I do have to start looking into replacement options. As well as how to pay for those replacement options.
