Nolan himself says there's only about 50 pure blood vilrumites left (in addition to some unknown number of hybrids like Mark) but less than a dozen of them are Named Characters. This one Inuyasha (plus other youkai) story has a pretty good explanation for why despite human spiritualists being able to completely overpower youkai, they can't just become the new government. According to this worldview, when humans use their reiki on other humans, it will be tainted with the resentment of human dead, causing their power to wane. An interesting take.

As of right now I'm officially done with writing fanfiction. I've come to learn that I can't write for shit half the time and the other half I either blue screen on what to write or get thrown insults in private messages. If anyone wants to take over any of my fics and write them how they want, then feel free. Maybe I'll try my hand at writing again someday, but for now I'm done.
