RIP The Only Thing to Fear (Is Fear Itself). Scrapped it. Rebuilding from its bones with less bloat, more emotion, and no cosmology. That's for my original work now. Some stuff will look familiar. Like, part of it is kind of cringe, but there's a certain ruthlessness to the character that requires cringe anyway. But the way the MC evolves in combat prowess is interesting. Like she starts out tossing absolute zero ice balls like a mage with a fireball, but later on she's using dialogue and mist to hide it like a trap while using curses as a distraction, very nice.

Some parts of it, like the Under One Person/The Outcast/Hidden Ones is very niche, but the Haruno Sakura bit is very nice as an interesting introduction, and how Gatomon rejected digivolving into Angewomon to gain freedom over her own destiny, causing her to later digivolve into Lucemon, hm, well, anyway I didn't like the Hermione parts though

it's fine; most people don't like to have one of those anyway, they're so heavy and they get in the way, and most people don't use them even if they do have one

usually everyone just uses someone else's, sort of like a Internet hotspot
