  • but looking back with a more professional eye, douluo dalu can't compare with rwby in terms of set choreography, camera work, costume design, uhhh all the "animation" stuff

both are "teens in magic fighting school" type animations, but well, one is more traditionally/professionally made

and the other is a web novel story animated in a game engine

    hmmm

but that isn't to say the other isn't any good, I mean, there's a lot of depth to be discovered in the politics, layered plots, and complex set pieces, but it's buried under the shittiest possible animation quality, made all the worse by making it in uncanny vally 3d

maybe the reason why those ming, song, tang, etc. chairs are so wide that you can't rest both your arms on each armrest at the same time is because they're made for people who can hug a girl in each arm, so it's actually chairs made to fit three people, but this is lewd, so it's left out of the records, but it was common sense at the time, sort of like how vhs is common sense back then, but no one remembers now
so it's not really "west factory" or "east factory", but you know because eunuchs are called gonggong, and where they're based is the gongchang, and a factory is gongchang too, but I don't think there's any other translations for it unless you just call it, what, "west eunuch workhouse" and "east eunuch workhouse"?
Recently got back into historical fiction, right? So I read this one, 穿越大唐:当个闲王这么难 by 悟途, and it's like about being the tenth prince of the Tang Dynasty, and it's really good because of how relaxing it is, there's still the usual tech stuff, but mostly it's about political intrigue, profiteering, and world domination through proxies, instead of, you know, violence and wars and booze and shit

    That does sound interesting.
but anyway, in chinese, a strip club isn't a "club where people take off clothes", but a "疯马秀", as in a "crazy horse show", so Ranma is actually just anime Magic Mike
"Hey, Boss. We spent so much and we eat here all the time, can you round the bill down?"
"... well, since you're an old customer, that's fine. Let's drop it down from 800 to 790?"
"Alright, Boss. Here's 800, keep the last 10 as a tip! I'm so generous!"
I'm getting so mad over a shitty light novel anime, what's wrong with me. I mean, Villainess Level 99 isn't any different from any other light novel anime protagonist, but, I don't know. You telling me MC has nuke-level magic, and for all the bullying she gets from the three dumbasses, she's just letting them off with a 'sorry'? What is this bullshit. No sincerity. No wonder she's not getting laid.

Stupid bitch making nice with the king and queen, when it's their son bullying her, and it's like, you really think they're any better, they're just good at hiding it, after all the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. And you're just gonna let them get by with a couple niceties without even paying their pound of flesh to show they actually mean it? Such a lame Japan.

And I get that it's probably something to do with publishers and editors wanting this type of content over more real characters, but it really tells a story of Japan's political correctness is that everyone has to be slaves to a shit hierarchy that doesn't even need to exist anymore.

I think the problem with the latter is that those types of stories have one attractive male protagonist but no male and antagonists. You know it's like the NTR type harem stories seem more real because there's actually other guys, and if the girls are really that great then there has to be plenty of jealous suitors hovering around them.

In Negima the setting is an all girls school, it's difficult to justify male rivals there.
By the time the action moves into the magical world the protagonists have more important things to think about.

To Love Ru technically had Ren at first.

In Nisekoi... Wouldn't Claude sort of count, as he is an obstacle in the relationship of Chitoge and Raku (and Claude has a fixation on Chitoge) and he's damaged another haremette?
I realize that there are more abilities than just those

Such as causing accidental falling like rito does in to loveru, critical strikes (seeing and touching the sensitive parts of the body for maximum effect pressure points but lewd), drafts of wind like negi in negima, button bursting, you know

The problem is these abilities tend to belong to characters who get ntred not characters who ntr

However in the end both are some type of harem protagonist
