  • The reason why so many "want to be a dragon rider (the literal term translated to english is dragon knight however)" is because the heroine is xiaolongnv whose name is translated as little dragon girl, but the term is somewhat defamatory because in jin yong's novel, the dragon rider is the taoist rapist who raped xiaolongnv
so because it's considered unethical over here people report web stories that contain mother daughter rice bowls if you know what I mean
Kinda wanna see like, a shitty harem web story, like, "I just learned xianxia cultivation and then I isekaied to revolutionary era america, but it's a gestalt world of all the books/movies/shows set in this period"

so it's like, there's lincolns hunting vampires, and there's vampire diaries vampires, and then there's also skelly pirates in the caribbeans, and shit
you died of overwork and woke up, thinking that you isekaied

    but actually you're just azathoth
I think I get it, you know, "The Root" in English seems fine, but when in Chinese, it's another term for penis, like "his life root" or whatever, so in Type Moon, maybe Gaia is a futa?
I can kind of understand that villain system. If we put it in a stupider series, like DXD, or a normal series, like Ranma, then it's like you fucked Issei's mom or Ranma's mom, and then took a bit of their luck, had kids with their moms, took more luck, so now Issei can't beat his enemies as easily, or the girls won't love him "just because he's kind", or even get that stupid red hand glove

the ugly bastard gets NTRed, hmmm, it never happens in doujins, but I think this is something that should happen more

I dunno man, he looks like he's got that look like he stepped in some dog doodoo
it seems like "licking dog" is more than just "simp"

because simp seems to be more... simple? like, just a sort of giving in, but licking dog is like, "oh no, I can't be matched with her because she doesn't like me enough yet, so I don't want to force her or push her boundaries, I want to respect her wishes, so if she can't love me, then I'll protect her silently from behind the scenes" like a sort of overconcern?

You're a well trained dog who only knows how to lick to please it's mistress
all things aside, there is one big difference between rwby and dldl in how fast people grow up, like in rwby, you have jaune, who's an emotional idiot several seasons in, and then in dldl, you have kids who just entered the academy having several girlfriends while also visiting whorehouses on the weekends at the same time

like... one is "here's a safety bubble everything's sanitized inside" and the other is too real

after watching all those NTR and cheating korean and chinese dramas, I feel like the JRPG fantasy "loli elf gets kidnapped by a band of orges/goblins/orcs and then gangraped until she's broken into a breeding sow machine" genre can't even fuck with my head in the slightest bit at all anymore
saw this one version of dual cultivation technique where one steals the "origin", "fate", and "luck" of the other through this; but it's damped so it's not like usurpation, more like "I made you lose your 'fate', so the people who loved you kinda don't, your talents are kinda gone, and you're not gonna get anywhere further in life, and I get a generic +1 boost to my powers"
but looking back with a more professional eye, douluo dalu can't compare with rwby in terms of set choreography, camera work, costume design, uhhh all the "animation" stuff

both are "teens in magic fighting school" type animations, but well, one is more traditionally/professionally made

and the other is a web novel story animated in a game engine

    hmmm

but that isn't to say the other isn't any good, I mean, there's a lot of depth to be discovered in the politics, layered plots, and complex set pieces, but it's buried under the shittiest possible animation quality, made all the worse by making it in uncanny vally 3d

maybe the reason why those ming, song, tang, etc. chairs are so wide that you can't rest both your arms on each armrest at the same time is because they're made for people who can hug a girl in each arm, so it's actually chairs made to fit three people, but this is lewd, so it's left out of the records, but it was common sense at the time, sort of like how vhs is common sense back then, but no one remembers now
so it's not really "west factory" or "east factory", but you know because eunuchs are called gonggong, and where they're based is the gongchang, and a factory is gongchang too, but I don't think there's any other translations for it unless you just call it, what, "west eunuch workhouse" and "east eunuch workhouse"?
Recently got back into historical fiction, right? So I read this one, 穿越大唐:当个闲王这么难 by 悟途, and it's like about being the tenth prince of the Tang Dynasty, and it's really good because of how relaxing it is, there's still the usual tech stuff, but mostly it's about political intrigue, profiteering, and world domination through proxies, instead of, you know, violence and wars and booze and shit

    That does sound interesting.
but anyway, in chinese, a strip club isn't a "club where people take off clothes", but a "疯马秀", as in a "crazy horse show", so Ranma is actually just anime Magic Mike
"Hey, Boss. We spent so much and we eat here all the time, can you round the bill down?"
"... well, since you're an old customer, that's fine. Let's drop it down from 800 to 790?"
"Alright, Boss. Here's 800, keep the last 10 as a tip! I'm so generous!"
