    protagonist's antagonist-wisdom-reduction aura is probably stronger than even plot armor, because it's not a hard limit on protagonist's inability to die, but a hard limit on the world/setting due to the author/writer being too stupid to write more competent antagonists, and inability to weave more complex plots than 1+1=3

    Why would the world consciousness be so stupid? Like, if you can break the world, and then the world strains against you, so you're forced under pressure to shatter the world, what good does this do for the world? Does the world know there's people you care about in it, when all mortals are like ants to it to begin with? Authors seem to lack a basic sense of scale and treat all worlds equally, why?
