In his defense, he admits it's purely a personal preference. As a critic, he realizes how well Breaking Bad is crafted, but in terms of personal taste he has absolutely no interest in it. He claimed it's too well polished. Likewise GoT. He had zero interest in the heavy political machinations of the earlier seasons but enjoyed the later seasons when they started getting more fantastical.

Fantastical... is certainly not the word I would have chosen.

Well, now I am glad I never got into watching those guys on youtube if they are going to have such bad takes.
