Questionable Questing

A lot of newer stories focus more relatability rather really powerful emotions. most people haven't ever been banished to a hellish plane of existence or fought and killed in a war. But millions of people every single day have suffered from a bad hair day.

And 50 shades of gray, despite having terrible characters and terrible writing all around. is actually genius in its mediocrity. it's like the western version of all those trashy isekai anime's except instead of weebs its for middle aged women.

It's like little shit like the bad hair day, their are hundreds of lines like that deliberately designed to appeal to a certain kind of market. It's like the main character has a best friend who's more attractive and always had a boyfriend or going to party, is ignored by the main love interest because he only wants the main character.

the best friend flirts with the main love interest, which is really fucked up thing to do but everyone just laughs it off, and he just openly rejects her in front of the main character. Shit like that is so stereotypical and cliche i don't know if the author is laughing their way to the bank or is that bad, but either way it made millions.

The bad hair day makes me want to barf. Give me interesting. And make that relatable, but I can see it working for Dredsen Files, a superior work. And the tastes of most readers are that Boys only want one thing meme and its disgusting but for shit literaure

So its writing designed to be shallow and appeal to the most generic of connections to the reader. That is awful but profitable

Shit, I could write a college thesis on why 50 shades of Grey is so successful, and truthfully I could probably make a clone of it pretty easily and be very successful, but I think doing that would just kill my soul no matter how much money i could make

Math hell? What are you doing, some kind of test? For me today I've just been chilling. I was pretty busy yesterday, which is usually the day I relax a little, since the school I'm at is only Monday to Thursday. Speaking of school I've got six weeks left before I graduate.

Math. I am not doing anything else like the science or live action performance art I need till it is done.

HVAC, heating, cooling and refrigeration, technician. The acronym makes it sound much more important than it actually is lol. Although truthfully its pretty important, No matter where you go you need air conditioning and a refrigerator to store food. And the pays not bad either. A good tech with five to ten years of experience and a couple certifications, could earn 40-50 bucks an hour here in California.

That is really good pay. And working a at a restaurant it is vital that things be cooled .

Obviously being a newbie I'm not going to be paid anywhere near that. If I'm lucky I'll probably make around 25 an hour which with how expensive California is, means it's not as much as you would think. Fucking gas has stayed around 5 bucks a gallon for year's now. But that 50 bucks an hour is the dream I hoping to reach some day.
