I talked about how the mother was ambitious and desperately seeking more out of her life, she was a cheerleader too, so think your stereotypical mean girl except a milf, but at the same time she does love and care for her family and is very proud of them. Its an interesting contradiction, her ambitions have been held back by her family, but she loves them enough it doesn't bother her.

How does Hell free her to become powerful and desirable? How does her body and personality change?

I was thinking she was going hard into plastic surgery to maintain her looks, but hell will make it real and take it even further. her personality changes will be first getting humbled by going from respect housewife to barely surviving on the street will give her a harder edge and better empathy for the people below. Which will slowly morph into an iron will to succeed no matter what.

People below? This makes me think of the demon forest theme as a refuge for other lower class demons

Sorry I couldn't respond earlier, i went to work today, but afterwards I stopped at a doctor's office and turns out I have a sinus infection. I'll be taking antibiotic's for a week and I'll probably stay home for the rest of the week. The company has a policy that you can't stay home more than two days without a doctor's note, but I have that now.

Still kind of sucks, but with the medicine i'll be fine by next week.

I had problems with the insurance too. My new one for this job hadn't kicked in yet, so I had to dig around and find my old one. luckily everything worked out.

So overlords don't like sharing power, pretty obvious. The more overlords their are, the more divided the land becomes, the less individual power everyone has. Plus you combine that material reality with how hell amplifies your emotions, like desire and greed, and you have a recipe for a elite that refuses to share.

Except, if you swear yourself to someone, then you power gets added with there's. Suddenly there's a loop hole. Suddenly there's a incentive for making more people overlords. What hell's elite want is that any potential new comer swears themselves in, either through marriage, adoptions, whatever. The big thing is that they do not want new families popping up.
