Over the years he adopted a persona that became the main ego, the nice guy blue souled person but events happen and we open on his mom going to see her son restrained because he murdered a bunch of people as the Dark Soul took over. The Dark soul screams for her to go away and not look at him

Trying to explain what happened and why and that he'll bring back the good version of him and please don't hate him. Revealing the mom knew about the inner demon of her son for years and still loved him. Worldbuilding changes replace demons and angels with Darksouls who are considered dangerous criminals or animals to be leashed.
