Yep, if I'm not mistaken, although I'm pretty sure this is an urban legend, Teddy Roosevelt liked hunting. And one day he set up some traps or people he was with set up some traps and they ended up catching a baby black bear, and instead of killing it Teddy let it go because he either thought it was too cute or he thought killing a defenseless animal was unsporting.

So on his campaign trail that story came up alot and it became so popular that teddy and his team created some stuff bears to take advantage of that, and they were named after him. Hence the name Teddy Bears.

Maybe if your going that route, the mom misses those slutty days. Maybe she was a willing participant and she got involved as a dumb college kid just wanting to experience new things and it wasn't until her children were born that she realized how destructive the whole thing was.

What's so special about the town? I'm guessing its a smaller town, that's close to a major college and gets yearly tourism because of it. You get enough tourist, especially younger ones that do drugs and drink, it'll be a lot easier to hide some of the crazier shit that happens. A smaller town too you'll have less police officers and politicians to bribe to gain control.

But is their anything else about the town that's special? Indian burial ground or some kind of ritual stones? Major wildlife reserve nearby to hide in? New real estate construction and development to hide all that laundered and dirty money flowing around?
