We got the house done. There's still a lot of work that needs to be done, but its the kind of work we can do later. It was really rushed in the end but we made it.

Something I noticed that's really interesting is that in post apocalyptic stories, nine times out of ten its about a father figure and their daughter trying to survive. Joel and Ellie with the last of us. Lee and Clementine in Walking dead. Resident evil even had Sherry.

My idea is that you take that same concept, main male character and his adopted daughter, and you twist it around. Make some kind of force or outside context corrupting and influencing the character's and the MC is dealing with trying to protect his daughter, trying to keep her safe, trying not to fall in love or give into these desires.

Basically the usual bimbo corruption story and juxtapose it with the post apocalyptic ascetic and how wholesome these relationships are normally.

My thought were barbarian vampire tribes in a landscape of beasts and people building cities to keep out the ravenous primal blood drinkers

My first idea was the usual self insert waking up alone in a apartment instructed to protect the various little girls of various post apocalyptic media, and the gimmick is that Rob or whatever name I give the mysterious benefactor, will hand out powers that will help protect the MC and the girls, but these powers have the side effect of sexualizing or corrupting them.

Basically make it a struggle where the mc has to balance their safety and well being with the corruption these powers cause. I guess its also in some ways a meta commentary about how I like wholesome romantic stories, and extreme sex, and how contradictory these two things are.
