Light and dark, are obviously just a sign of how emotionally healthy someone is. Constantly swimming in rage and hate makes you aura dark, being at peace and content makes it light. You hold onto light or dark for long periods of time it starts effecting your semblance and aura.

Maybe even if you hold on to it for too long can start leaking out and people will automatically get a bad vibe or avoid you if your aura is dark, and if its light everyone will try being your friend without knowing why.

Now I am the moral grey king so I wonder at people who are naturally inclined to dark or light, but are good with themselves. Some people are negative and others are positive, but both can be happy in different ways. Be funny to have Tai be one of the darkest of Auras but all the girls know besides the smutty Daddy is he has a very relaxing bright aura
