I think his semblance should be a collar. if you accept it, you get stronger and faster as Whitley's aura get's shared with you along with anyone else who's collared, making this big pool for everyone to access and everyone who's collared gets closer emotionally and physically with everyone else.

Seems benign enough at first, but the longer you were the collar the harder it is to take off and the more control Whitely has over their mind and body. really play into that possessiveness of his, make it almost like a deal with the devil.
