Questionable Questing

Not really that good to be honest. It was a maintince postition for a nursing home and from the sound of it and how fast they wanted to hire me, they where desperate for people. They had three people in their maintaince team and I looked up the company and the spot i would be working had, it has to have atleast a couple hundred residents so severally understaffed.

Plus not good pay either.

Dodged a bullet. Writing topic I wanted to talk about is Maledom and corrupting characters who corrupt. Crowned Conquest has a MC you can't feel with. He has a girl once in his harem kill her father and kill her little brother. Saying it is better he dies as all the women will belong to the Crowned anyway

Its not the actual being evil. It's how flat the MC is. He's a power fantasy without greater emotion or belief. There's no attachment to make me want to do evil

And the MC didn't get really fucked up by that? Didn't have a moment to reflect on his actions or the effect he's having on these girls? Does the MC even have emotions or is he just a walking rape machine?

And this is the thing. I want a fantasy dark lord dub con guy that you could connect to. Some complexity

The collaring of women,harem sister lesbians, devotion and corruption are great but the MC is so unlikable and inhuman.

Does the auther at least explore this inhumanity and how difficult it is for the MC to have a normal friendship or have a relationship that's not based on transactions or dominating someone? Have him be lonely and long for things he doesn't understand? Make it a character flaw at his inability to empathize by making it where he has trouble understanding people and their motivations?

I mean there are ways of making an inhuman monster into an actual character. I mean god only knows how traumatizing it would be to grow up in a society where femininity and anything associated with it is considered weakness that needs to be destroyed or controlled.

Nope. Never read the full thing, which is written very well line wise and with other Povs like victims but never introspective with MC. Pure dick.

I will say with you know High School DXD? I think characters like Iseie who wants harems shouldn't be nice guys passively making one

Harem anime protags should be controlling, corrupting, manipulating, determined and rapey selfish power hungry characters. Good traits to be heroic but core vices that push the vicious building of a harem. I am bored of nice kind guy harem idiots

I am more partial to the more master mind kind that like to play mind games, but at the very least if you think you desrve a harem you should at least be a bad ass warrior.

More than being a bad ass warrior. A cult figure. Harems as families but the slavish kind. Harems as dark and troubling but the more enticing for it. Have that Harem protag abuse and push his authority but while having a interesting personality and emotions

It can be a hard balancing act, keeping a main character sympathetic and engaging to the audiance while making them do evil shit, but despite what people say it is actually something really populer right now. People love Walter White and Tony Soprano for a reason.

Marthsis on Fiction Live is the king of villain protags. Give them loved ones and some standards and your golden. Speaking of, want to talk about the Fae thing with a villain protag MC?

I think the key with those two characters is that they really struggle sometime with their decisions and they make a lot of mistakes sometimes trying to hold on to their morals. Tony hesitating to kill his cousin or Big Pussy. Walter always having to save Jess. It adds complexity.

And sure what idea do you have for a fae?
