The order vs chaos idea for magic for a urban fantasy setting is Clean vs Corrupted Chi, that being mages who use higher principles and imposed structures to channel their magic in ritualized controlled fashion, and rape powered sex dungeon deviant warlocks riding on a wave of debauchery and dark passions

I use the Chi terms as a comparison to that setting we talked about with pure vs dark chi

I had this one where our main character has fallen to the Chaos magic's darkness and now runs a demonic brothel and ensnares the wives of some rivals he killed but he's also avoiding a childhood friend because as a Magician of the Inverted Houses his Love is Poison.

That is to say he's obligated to use dubcon, manipulation, corruption, domination, and a lot of other abuses of power when it comes to romance. Sex magic is violent tyrant magic. Holy fuck. Dude. THe FUCKING COMMENT boxes are fixed at last!!!

But back to cops and robbers, we need stuff to steal and I don't think money is going to be enough. if your a black magician and you have the power to freely manipulate someone's body, you can make more money than god just doing plastic surgery on celebrities or a couple hours at a hospital. There have been actors and politicians willing to spend millions of dollars just on hair implants.

Something Awful is basically the granddaddy of all internet forums. Started out in 1999, became a place for internet nerds to talk about video games and movies, slowly grew into at one point one of the largest sites in the world. Minecraft, 4chan, Kiwifarms, Chris chan, Lets plays, reddit all of these things can be traced back to something awful.

And I wish I could explain why it became so popular and big, but to tell you the truth it was more luck and timing than anything else. It was really one of the first huge forums that was readily accessible and it came at the point when the internet just was starting to explode in popularity. I mean forum's have existed before something awful but they where awkward to use and difficult to find.

Plus something awful in the beginning at least was very wild west. You can do or say whatever you want and while that would cause a lot of problems later and its eventual downfall, what that meant in the beginning was it grew a very loyal and active fan base. You how I mentioned Chrischan? Something Awful had a lot of the trolls that would dox and fuck with him on it.

For awhile they where 4chan, before 4chan existed basically.

I have avoided Chris Chan as the story is too depressing and Kiwi farms is the devil. I have never dared gone on that site. Currently I don't know if there are any really active forums besides the trinity of QQ, Space Battles, and Sufficent Velocity.

The wild west bit reminds me of stories I've heard of Space Battles creative writing back in the early days. Lots of shit went down that has been deleted. Same for RP threads.
