For Salem, her big thing is how nonchalant she is about experimenting on people. Its like a great example. She adopts a bunch of dogs one day and starts injecting them with grim goo and when one just start shrieking and crying as it dissolves, Salem just shrugs her shoulders and say's test 641 was a failure and moves on to the next one without a care in the world.

So can demons have people they love and try to care about and full depth of emotions but their passions and goals become inhuman?

Summer's biggest fear is that her mom's going to start doing human testing and then she'll have to stop her. Which actually has already happened. lol. Salem made a deal with the government to take death-row inmates and experiment with them since despite the grisly effects, Salem has made several very major discovers in medicine and has a significant amount of power and political influence because of it.

But yeah basically. Salem does genuinely love her daughter very, very much and all this experimenting is born from the very real fear of outliving everyone she loves and being alone. But at the same time everyone outside of her family is either an obstacle or an opportunity to further her research.

So demons can have friends and loved ones but when it comes to goals or desires they will pursue them without restraint

Only held back by the people they love. And a demon without family or any connections pretty much go insane.

So Demons often try to grab friend and family to avoid losing themselves. And demons aren't devils?

Demons, devils, there used interchangeably but usually devil's are meant to represent older and typically stronger demons. And all demons go through a weird phase with their families. Some push them away, to spare them the heart break since they've changed so much. Other's try to keep going as if nothing changed. While some like Salem try to fix it. Again it depends on the person and their situation.

Hey. How are you? I just got back from having some ice cream, they had a new key lime custard that was really good.

Played Magic today which was fun. Won first game with lots of token creatures and enchantments enhancing attack power and lost next for low Mana cards to cast spells and one after that for loosing health per draw because of enemy spell effect

Sounds fun, even if you lost a couple times. Any idea's you've been working on yourself? I feel like My Hero Therapist and the Idol one have been kind of sucking up all the sun.
