Questionable Questing

Bruh. So Thrag is in contrast to Mark who in true ancient Viltrumite fashion bimbo slaves his mother into his queen and helps her become a deadly assassin to fuel their combined conquests. Mark is evil to many people but he becomes the epitome of the best of Viltrumites for good and worse.

And bat family chi powers and we can talk their relationship to Mark and how they responded to the Flaxen invasion.

Which finally ties into Nolan, a rising star who also suspiciously looks a lot like the former king. Thragg thinks he's one of the kings many unacknowledged bastards rather than the son who mysteriously vanished. But even still he's a little insecure at how popular and respected he is, decides to assign him Earth which at the time was consider a backwater far, far away from Viltrum.

But onto Viltrum's military power. There is hundreds of Viltrum left in the whole galaxy, but a good chunk of them are under a hundred years old. So still incredibly weak and untrained in comparison to the veterans, but very fanatical as they were raised under Thragg. Along with the main army, they have a decent fleet of a few hundred spaceships staffed by slaves, which Thragg trying very hard to get rid of.

So still monstrously strong, but in comparison to Green Lantern's who have an army of over ten thousand, the reach that has thousands of ships, or Darkside, the Viltrum are increasingly see as a backwater as the memories of the war start to get forgotten.

That's kind of the vibe I'm going for. Aging dying elite backed by young inexperienced youth all obsessed with former glories even if its killing them.

Bat family martial arts and growing up with Mark and his sisters

Right now, I'm actually debating how involved Mark will be before he get's powers. I could totally seem him badgering and begging Batman enough to learn from him, being held back since unknown to him his unnatural biology won't let him learn chi, but regardless Mark will still be well trained enough to take on a few thugs and some of Batman's weaker foes.
Andy333
Andy333
The issue of course is that Nolan wouldn't want him getting involved in superhero work at first, using the excuse of no powers. Only allowing training and very few actual patrol's or real hero work. With Batman going along out of respect for Nolan and of course fear's that without chi Mark would be too vulnerable. But despite that I could totally see Jason or Dick sneaking around and working with Mark on occasion.
Andy333
Andy333
And funny enough, I could see Nolan and Batman pretending they don't know anything about it. :V Because as much as they begrudge him about it, they both understand he's a hero at heart. But to tie back around to my original question, how far should Mark take this underground career before he get's his powers? A few thugs? A few C-Lister villains? Maybe a B-Lister's but he gets hurt?

I don't want him to be an established hero, but I don't want Mark to be an unknown either you know? I'm kind of liking the idea that some of the Gotham villains, Poison ivy, Mr. Freeze, ecetera, know about him.

B lister but hurt. Hint at his dormant powers with how he doesn't die.

Now Bat family, how does he discover their chi powers and what powers do they have?
Andy333

I like that. I was thinking of including some hints like the chi thing that mark's not normal, not necessarily to the readers but to the cast around him.

I like. Why can't he harness Chi. A lingering question
