Well, Carol has her slowly becoming a mother, becoming a bimbo giving her the confidence and freedom to let herself open up to her kids. Vicky has the conflicting desires between leaving her family and having the freedom from all its expectations or staying and helping them. While Amy's the basket case that's slowly going insane as she's finally given an outlet for all her intrusive thoughts.

What is New Wave's main goal as a faction outside of sex

Well a big part of it is that they have no goal, at least in the beginning. They're trying to survive and trying to keep their relationship a secret but outside forces like Coil force them to respond and start accruing more power and goals to defend themselves. Kind of an inverse of Robin, where she has a goal and slowly loses sight of it as she slowly grows to love her students.

New wave starts out loving each other and over time as they get closer they start to have ambitions and goals outside themselves. So zero ambition to wanting to conquer and rule.

Rule how and do they still keep some heroic ideals?

Heroic deeds is how it all starts. lol. Defeating any of the gangs creates a power vacuum that either Kaiser or Lung will take advantage of and the PRT does not have the resources or ability to combat this, especially if a paranoid Piggot being goaded along by Coil in the background causes them to refuse to work with New Wave.

Which creates a situation where the more and more they fight the gangs the more they are seen as holding territory. Which combined with the new business Amy and Alex start up taking advantage of their powers for profit and to become more independent from the PRT, almost starts to become bases for a gang.

Anyway I'm getting some sleep, talk to tomorrow. I kind of like some of these ideas, of a family slowly devolving into just another gang.

You have to remember that there's a lot more men on those sites than women, I think the last time I looked at the statistics it was like seventy-thirty in favor of men. Then you combine that with some pretty nasty payment schemes, where the site knowingly makes it harder to get matches because they want you to buy the gold or platinum subscription, and well a lot of these so-called girls probably didn't see you.

A good chunk of them probably weren't even real with how bad botting's gotten especially since a lot of these sites like to inflate their numbers for investors. But you mentioned school, what are you doing? It is all online? Are there some people you can meet through that, maybe a club or organization of some kind?

Dead ass campus. All my classes are online and the campus is small and barely anyone on it. I have friends but getting a girl? Yeah no. I also need to do more writing. I need to get good at writing too. I want to make a career out of it. I like fixing things and for what it's worth I enjoy maintenance and HVAC, but jesus man I've seen way too many fifty and sixty years old just completely destroy their bodies in this field. When I'm in my forties getting on my hands and knee and fixing a leaky sink pipe or digging out clumps of hair in the pipe doesn't sound fun.

Staying at home writing smut sounds a lot more fun. lol. but yeah with writing, you kind of have to look at it like a job sometimes. Basically set goals whether that be word counts, page counts, chapters finished per week, whatever. Force yourself to work on it. Pretend if you don't finish it, you won't pay rent that week.

Don't worry too much about getting a girlfriend. it makes you nervous, and it makes you overthink things. You'll just run into someone, you'll enjoy spending time together, and then boom you have a girlfriend. lol. Women don't like being pressured into something. I don't know if you heard the saying, but women control the bed and men control the ring.
