I don't know. I'm kind of liking the slow burn low fantasy/supernatural thing we've got going so far. Where at least in the beginning the Mc doesn't know what's real and what isn't and has to explore around to try and find the truth before he gets killed.

I was kind of liking the idea of a semi-masquerade where the magical world and normal governments are well aware and influence each other, but for the average person on the street it's an urban legend or dying craft.

And its been set up that way to not only control but keep people from stumbling onto stupidly powerful artifact or ancinect demons.

I kind like the whole spirits fusing with machines thing Overwatch has, now that you've brought it up, where they never specify if its an AI or magic, or even a fusion of both. I always thought that was a pretty cool idea.
