Pretty decent. I cooked a roast and then some Dutch donuts, which are basically balls of dough fried in oil with various fruits and nuts stuffed inside them. I went with a mix of coconut slices, apples chunks, and almond slivers and it was pretty good.

You know I love watching stuff like that because it's a reminder that real medieval armour, not the Hollywood version of it, is heavy yet very flexible. I can only imagine the terror of a horde of knights weight upwards of two hundred pounds in their gear, atop horses diving down a hill at top speed about to crash into the spear line I'm supposed to hold.

It is not realistic as with sharpened edges you'd see more careful combat but yeah. Armor is designed to be moved in

But onto Hari. I think I've got the plot pretty well structured now. Hari discovers powers, builds teams with his girl friends, unknowingly pushes family away, and attracting attention of Makima, leading to the reveal of Ragyo.

Makima is? And all three girlfriends are unaware of each other? And pushes family away how?

Makima is the mother to Marin, unknowingly a former magical girl, and is the leader of a secret organization that's trying to build artificial magical girls so the wirld is no longer dependent on teenagers to save it using Ragyo's old research. And is trying to track down Satsuki, but can't because she's practically disappeared.

Makima has good points

But is also incredibly distant to her daughter since she's so focused on her work, and unknowingly that distance is the reason Marin thinks her mom doesn't like her and doesn't tell her she's a magical girl.

But with the three girlfriends, I mentioned that unless a magical girl not only tells you her secret but actively wants you to know it, for example if a magical girls dating a guy and they break up that second part protects her, and since the three girls don't trust each other fully and are only connected through Hari who set it up, the magic actively prevents them from knowing their secret identities.

Think of it like a Miraculous Butterfly scenario except Hari's the only one who knows.

Kind of a dick. Was in tub. How does Hari justify himself?

Well he does it because he wants to have his cake and eat it too. He loves his girls and he wants them to get along and not have to hide them from each other, but he also isn't willing to stop cheating or tell the truth. And how he justifies it to himself is that one being a magical girl is very dangerous and having a team could really help them.

Two, he doesn't really have a choice not to be involved since all three of them told him separately and since he has powers too he can't really back out now. While three he refuses to do anything romantic in his Magic boy suit and in his mind there's a clear boundary between his normal life and his so-called work life.
