So our mother is a Werewolf witch who has raised her daughters to be concubines for her son to keep him loyal to her. She's been preparing him to claim the Throne. Now given power our Were prince starts to wonder if he should be King in truth and rule his mother and sisters

Sorry it took me a little while, just had a quick bite to eat. Which is a fun phrase to use considering we're talking about werewolves. lol. But the mom, who is she? Why does she want to rule? Is it just power? Is it revenge? Is she angry at her family being mistreated and having to hide who she is just because a distant ancestor is the prince? Is there some dark magic twisting her?

Question. Prince is like a generation ago only right? Former concubine who lost lovers and friends to the war and has been using Dark Were magic to win it only to retreat and plot her return

I was thinking more a couple generations ago actually, so that both parties the older honorable nobles and the new free ones have time to solidify into their own parties and to give time for some of the institutions created in response to the prince like the Star knights have time to establish themselves.

So the only survivors still left from the war are a few old men and maybe a few grizzled veterans. But going with that concubine idea, maybe have the mom be her daughter or granddaughter, raised on a lifetime of vengeance and anger at what was taken away.

What's her personality? Other than wanting revenge or to fill her daddy size hole in her heart with her son? lol

We have the manipulative scheming witch mother stereotype but that needs fleshing out and depth. Uniqueness. Could be a front line combatant who had to learn how to lie to preserve her bloodline in hiding

I kind of like the idea of exploring the time. This is a girl who's been lying and scheming her whole life. Desperately hiding who she really is and trying to build a stable life for herself and her kids. And she finally made it, and now she's unsure.

She's been plotting her revenge and doing horrible things in the name of a father who died over twenty years ago. She's stable, she happy with her kids and the life she's built for herself. Is she really going to risk it all for revenge? And yet as tempting as it is to forgive and forget, she can't help but want revenge anyway.

And the ambition. Setting up her daughter wives as powerful nobles and giving her son knights to command.

Which speaking of the daughters I'm thinking she married someone in-between to regain status, and that is the father of her daughter's with her son being the oldest. With her either killing or sidelining the new husband.

A means to a end. Want full incest from start or work up to it?

Work up to it obviously. lol. The slow burn is always the best and it fits with how the son doesn't know who his father really is and how as he slowly discovers it he also discovers himself in the process.

So has mom already seduced her older daughters?

Not sure. We haven't even decide on how many sister's there are much less their personalities or role in the story.
