But really that ties in with the next big problem that we don't have an active antagonist just yet. I mean we have various factions and have set the stage for the conflict, but now we need something to trigger it all.

I was kind of thinking of a high king who was the true born brother of the prince. Resenting that long shadow. Add some familial drama to the mix as the son's heritage gets found out. But I think it needs more fleshing out and to be honest I'm getting kind of tired. I'll sleep on it, and maybe have some more idea's tomorrow.

I was kind of thinking as the newly crowned brother starts really cracking down on the new nobles and starts trying to make a name for himself it creates a tension the mom is able to exploit but that's about it. I was also thinking of some kind of high inquisitor for the Star Knight's endlessly chasing all the descendents of the bastard prince for revenge, but that seemed a little generic.
