She converted from the Old Gods to the Seven and in public keeps up a very respectable piously social appearance while in private has massive milf swinger sex club meetings with her son and his friends and their moms.
While being a devout Sevenist who thinks the love of flesh should be kept inside the house and not for strangers to view. Unlike those heathen whores.

So is she a direct antagonist Jon is going to have to fight at some point, or more of a political inconvenience he will have to wheel and deal around to neutralize?

The latter. She's building a life for herself in Moat Calin and is devoted to the Queen and wants the town to follow her way, but also she's a Sevenist and wants to curtail the influence of heathens. Who she hates as she was a heathen. She can be a problem and a help.

Her interests are based on trade in Moat Calin and northern power while inviting andal influence in such a way the Northern spirit isn't lost. Religious growing new nationalist for Northern unity and a karen. And someone interested in the rights and advancement of a ascending middle class caused by the revoution from magic

I was going to say, a rising merchant class based on potions and plantations making potion ingredients would make for a good early game political foe for Jon to have to maneuver around. It's not just good world building, but it's a relatively low threat conflict, since Merchants are about soft power rather than hard so no killing, you can use to introduce the new influence and opinion mechanics to the players.

I like that. My idea with the Hag is she's hiding her magic and her nature as a magical monster and trying to blend in with Moat Calin. She's there to be the one welcoming new moms and daughers into the community and the inner church sex circle

Which actually brings in another good plot point. Obviously Hurrik's going to want some people to settle on his land build it into a proper city, sorry I kept mentally referring to him as Jon snow for a second, take advantage of that. Have various groups make offers. The Andels, Riverlanders, hell maybe even Orc's or other more fantastical creatures.

Have various pro's, con's, hidden agendas, and goals for each group that Hurrik, and more importantly the players, have to investigate and decide if it's worth dealing with. Use that to start forming the various interest groups in the kingdom and force the players to choice what path they are leaning towards.

I really like this micro political gameplay

The really interesting part comes later when these various groups start making alliance's and power bloc's to support their goals and beliefs, and Hurrik can either try to sabotage them or support them based on what he wants. Stuff like breaking up a potential marriage of political rivals by seducing the bride, or burning the farm of a merchant that's been too loud in his complaints. Lots of potential.

The witch here provides a interesting character for worldbuilding as she is a Hag, a magical witch monster born of the Old Gods but she has chosen the Seven as her religion because of her lover a monster hunter andal woman

A couple more weeks. People be voting to make Ygrite more of a wife and that will affect dynamics going in as she will have influence from Lyanna seducing her and Ygrite will want more power over the Wildlings and to give them a higher place in Moat Calin

Could be interesting to see various wildling tribes immigrant and inter grate into Hurriks land. Lots of interesting drama and politics as the Starks and other Northern houses are sure to get involved.

Just because she only cares about her own, doesn't mean there aren't other groups desperate enough or think because they have some kind of connection to her they that means they can take advantage of it.

It's free drama, and isn't that the secret to all great books? lol.
