Maine teaching David how to treat Gloria not just as a mom but a crazy hooker girlfriend

Not as a dad, but I do like the uncle role you mentioned. But as I implied further back, sooner or later Maine is going to start getting attention as someone reliable and strong. Starts to build himself a bit of a reputation. Further helped along by Gloria's own rise, since she gets connections and jobs she can send his way on occasion. And then that's when the problems start.

I am liking this.

Maine has a lot of insecurities about being weak, about being unable or good enough to protect his family. So when this young hot shot name David, can accept chrome better than him, can use it better, can shoot better, is smarter, is starting to seduce a good chunk of his crew to following him. He starts to get jealous. He starts to get a little resentful.

Gloria starts changing into a completely different person, and Maine's not liking this new version of her. He's also really not liking that the kinds of jobs she's taking would be one in a lifetime opportunities for him, and deep inside in a place he wouldn't admit they are the kinds of jobs that would kill him. So despite all the success and power he seems to have on the surface, it all feels hollow to him.

There's a part here where not all that is envy. Gloria is becoming scary. He worries for her and David. There's good concern there

He feels like he isn't strong enough. He doesn't have enough money, enough chrome. He needs more. He feels like any moment all these good things he has could get ripped away from his lifeless corpse and all it'll take is getting on the bad side of an angel of death like Gloria. So despite the success, despite the fact he's not dependent on a scumbag like Faraday to reach the big leagues. He's still spiraling.

He still chipping in way too fast and way too hard, and David and Gloria know it. They try to talk to him. They try to support him. They still love him and think of him as family. But like you said, he's secretly terrified of them, but he's more scared of what they represent. That at the end of the day no matter how much chrome he gets he's still always going to be on the bottom end of the food chain.

A useless cog, a gunt to be sacrificed to the real Edgerunner like Gloria. And faraday takes advantage of that. He feeds his ego. He feeds his paranoia. He tells him he'll never go big if he's always hanging on to her coat tails, drawing him into his web with Faraday's big plan in this one to sell the genetic information of David or Gloria to Arasaka. But that's a whole other plot point.

Is the end here Maine dying or spiritually dying as David takes him captured and turns him into a dick girl bimbo slave for him and Gloria? Or does Maine get forgiven?

We're here for Maine getting cucked, and how that'll go down is that as he starts spiralling, more ruthless girls like Kiwi are going to see the warning sign immediately and start making plans. They won't screw him over, but they'll hedge their bets and working with Gloria gets you much higher up in the world anyway. So they'll start working with her, pulling away from Maine.

Which will fuel Maine's paranoia even more. Which will cause girls like Lucy and Rebecca, not to turn on him or anything but get really concerned and try to stage a bit of an intervention. Which ends horribly. In canon Kiwi got her face broken off for asking. So we can say something similar goes down. And that's what causes David to think of Maine not as a family member but a ticking time bomb.

We are stronger writers then most of that cursed genre. Cucked only if good story and dealing with the complex web of emotions between David and Gloria. The question is if you want Maine to get a redemption or to die and be reborn as a sub futa

And that's when David, formerly out of respect for Maine, really started hunting for everything in his crew. Trying to get them out and away from what everyone knew was about to happen and in the process finally cuck his mentor and take Dorio for himself which is the final straw for Maine for when he snaps.

Of course that leads to the question? Should Maine just go nuts and start killing people, or does he betray David and sell him out to Faraday? The answer to that I think is what decides his fate. Since Gloria would totally try to get him help if he goes cyberpsycho, maybe some kind of rehab or mental hospital, but hurt her son and she'll blow him into tiny pieces and then burn them.

Porn wise the tragedy ends with Maine remade into a futa cuck sub for David who has now become his Daddy in a reversal of roles and Gloria his new mistress. A bit of punishment by David but also a way to keep him around and showing how David's mind is starting to become corrupted by his link to Gloria that he can't let go of Maine who he loved but he'll twist and break him into a shemale bitch.

I think it is canon that former cyberpsycho's, provided they have money or family with enough money, can get treatment which is very time consuming and basically intensive therapy and rehab. And while they never fully recover, their kind of like addicts or someone with a flavor of schizoid disorder in that there will always be something wrong with them, but they can live normalish life afterwards.
